Hi very useful video. I still have the red leaver Sizzix cutter, I still have it on my desk and I use it if I just want a quick small die cutting out. I have just brought the new a4 sizzix machine and it's awesome so easy to wind through. I cut 8 cotton shapes at once and it glides through. I have to admit I loose my patience with my embosser it hardly ever cuts first time I feel I spend more time putting it through and picking bits out. I also have a Cricut for cutting lots of shapes the same. I think I am more of a collector of craft equipment more than a crafter sometimes. Great to see you back you look so well xx

I was sorry to hear that you have trouble getting your embosser to cut the first time, that would be really frustrating! Welcome back! You're right about the Ebosser. I first saw it on Create and Craft TV from the UK, now you don't see it much anymore. I think it is great for anybody who does a LOT of cards; certainly saves wear on the joints. Dies and embossing folders have really changed the face of card making! Perhaps one of your videos could point crafters in the direction of the best dies and embossing folders that give you the most bang for the buck and are the most versatile. The different companies have beautiful things but the choices are overwhelming, very costly and you can't keep up if you are not a dedicated crafter and then you forget all the possibilities they offer. Hubby gave me a Big Shot for Xmas. 2013. I haven't pulled it out of the box. How sad is that! I fall back on the Cuttlebug as I am usually doing Xmas cards on the dining room table with my sister. I need to make my crafting a year round rather than seasonal thing. I have loads of stuff that I have bought and have never used. Help...

I loved my Craftwell. Until it got stuck with the platforms half in/out! It also seems very unforgiving when it sticks, my machine has never reversed so the platforms wouldn't get stuck (something it's supposed to do so the platforms won't get stuck lol!) It's listed on my local Craig's list right now. On the other hand, my Vagabond machine has been very reliable. It works very smoothly. I do wish it could use the larger dies and embossing folders though. So I have the new, larger platform Spellbinders on order and it should be here pretty soon! They are supposed to be offering the electronic crank for it soon too, so no more cramping hands and sore shoulder from cranking!
fairythere Oh no!!!! I am SO sorry to hear that your platforms got stuck!!! I had no idea that could happen :(. It's good to hear that your vagabond machine has been reliable though! Thank you for letting me know there will be an electronic larger platform machine from spellbinders...that's great! If you get the chance I would love to know what you think of your new machine when you get a chance to use it for a bit! :D
I am totally a BigShotUser XD ... I love it cause its very versatile ... and comes at a affordable Price. If you are crafty but maybe not at a dayli base ... Id say that is the machine of choice !
