I'm Sorry...it's been an amazingly busy spring and we've fallen behind on our content. We hope you understand. In any case, we usually do a summer update this time of year so here it is!
In this update we'll take a leisurely morning stroll through the property and discuss, successes and failures on our current projects including greenhouse production, annual crop production, the food forest and our shelter belt project. There is a lot to cover so grab a coffee, sit back, and enjoy!
We're a relative new channel and always looking for support help us build our channel! If you found the content interesting and useful, give us a thumbs up! Subscribe to the channel, there's lots more coming!
The clubroot resistant cabbage variety we are growing is called tekila.

My wife and daughter help quite a bit! Luckily, my work schedule allows for me to get all this done!

Great tour David! You have set the bar so high it is not possible for mere mortals like the rest of us to harrow what you plough😀. Your oat crop is looking very good. Thanks again and have a great day.

Thank you Jim. It’s possible, you just have to sleep less, set goals, and don’t give up! And don’t be afraid of failure!

Wow thanks! I’m glad you’re following along. Spring and summer are super busy so not a lot of time to shoot footage.

Interesting, great information! I’ll keep that in mind for next spring. It’s a lot of work but wouldn’t have it any other way!

Looks awesome. Loving the log terrace. How are your peanuts doing? Having less success on those this year, unfortunately. Strange spring here too in NS.

I made the mistake of starting them too early in the greenhouse! I planted them outside in June but most have died! I’ll try again next year.
