Just playing devil's advocate here on Aaronson. We saw Dan James be a completely different kettle of fish last season. Aaronson could be at the very least useful. Lets be honest we are not getting a fee for him, and Farke might get something out of him. I genuinely think he has a point to prove at Leeds and I think he has the ability to do so, maybe not every week, week in week out, but certainly as an impact sub.

Would b amazing if Summerville stayed. Like u said ,hes the jewel in the crown.

Aaronson came through the Red Bull channel and brings immediate marketability. Aaronson is not a starter but can come off the bench or give us an option in cup games. Aaronson brings value with work rate and aggressive pressing. He grew at Union this year and would hopefully take a huge leap with Leeds this season in the championship. Imagine if he can evening bring 1/2 the impact Fan James brought this season and do it from the bench.

Summerville understands he is our marquee player at Leeds and he has been at Leeds for a good few years now having come in initially as part of our youth set up. He's a great professional and if he does go then seems it will be a club decision rather than him pushing for a move. Rasmus is poor, Even Llorente is getting a move to Roma.

If we can get decent money for Gnonto and use the loan market properly we could probably afford to keep Summerville for one more season and flesh the squad out.

i don't think summerville is that type of person to try force is way out, i think he would be happy to stay & fight again. hes still young & knows another great year offers will still be there, be great if we can keep our main players & can get a couple of loans to strengthen our team for a push

If we use Red Bull money now to pay what is owing on previous transfer, surely this gives us more time to sort out transfers in and out before end of window so that we are not under as much pressure as a lot seem to suggest

Brendan I believe could potentially offer us something this upcoming season but thought of Rasmus coming back is awful. He was Marsch’s guy and even he dropped him for Ayling who even though he struggled offered us more. Personally I’m still disappointed at the lack of us utilising a natural RB this season. Both Spence and Roberts and we hardly got to see the quality of either as they were kept out of the team by Gray.

If Cree and Archie stay lots of others eg Llorente, Wober, Jackie, Roca, Gnonto, Meslier, Piroe, Bamford, Cresswell, Joffy, Greenwood, Firpo - a fair few of these but we'd obviously need replacements for most with a fair numbers of loans and free transfers

Aaronson and Kristensen clearly werent good enough signings at premier league level. However firpo, struijk, james and bamford were all pretty shambolic at premier league level too... but all looked like decent assets at championship level last season. If Byram can look decent at full back for a good portion of last season, then im sure Kristensen can do aswell. If hes good enough to play 31 times for roma last season (who are a top 6 seria a club and a regular europa league side) then im sure he can play for us at championship level. Aaronson has weaknesses, but so did all of that side that got relegated.... hes 23 and has a premier league and bundesliga seasons under his belt. Aswell as champions league appearances.... For anyone to suggest he isnt up to championship level is wild. The one player i definitely want back is wober. I always liked him in the premier league... and with being comfortable at CB, LB and CM, then he also offers versatility and potentially competition at LB which would be much needed. Sometimes you can solve a few issues from within. These players are our players who already know the club... why not use them?! 🤷‍♂️

Positional play for Rasmus really poor😮. But I can see him sticking to touchline overlapping he does have goals in him. Three CBs Wober, Struijk and Rodon sitting with Ampadu and Gray in the double pivot.

I have wondered why the assumption that Summerville is to go? Gnonto I understand. But Summerville a very very competent player who will play Premier or equivalent football sooner or later but he can be the decider of his destiny. If he goes to an EPL club now what guarantees can there be of game time and what is likely to be the best place to further develop. Another full season in Championship during which time he will get stronger physically and can hone his skills further will not put him backwards. So many times we see players go to the Premier but they fail to fully live up to their expected potential. Another season at this level will do him no harm. The RB money shouldn’t be underestimated. It has been reported we had to meet £70m transfer payment instalments and if the £60m as reported for RB’s stake this year is correct that is pretty much the instalment taken care of. Sell Gnonto and get keep some higher wages off the accounts and I imagine the accounts are taken care of.

If we sell archie , then for me the club , owners are showing no ambition to go up at all . Same goes for Rutter . Would love to keep Somerville and Gnonto . Players to get rid of for me are Meslier , Bamford , Gruev only because we need to balance fair play rubbish . If we are going to sell our best players every year then all we are is a feeder club for the other clubs in Europe . We will never have consistancy and understanding between players . Loan players leaving already causes issues , the 49 ers said they are backing us and want us back in the premiership , they need to step up then and play hard ball and not sell our best players .

We only have 4 real assets to sell to balance the books....cre, gnonto, rutter and archie. The rest we would barely break even if that. Rutter if sold would be at a loss because hes worth nothing like what we paid for him. Gnonto, cre and archie would all make substantial profit to balance the books.
