He's actually referring to the recent issue of Taylor releasing different versions of the same album (the tortured poets department) on the same release date as other artists. When Billie's new album dropped taylor released 3 new versions of ttpd on the same day. and even more recently, when charlie xcx dropped her latest album, taylor released a UK exclusive variants of ttpd just at the end of the charting period or whatever (and charlie xcx is a UK artist i think, so she's bigger over there). So they're basically saying that she's stealing the #1 spot on the charts from these other artists. So just to reiterate, he is not talking about the re-recordings of her old albums. He is specifically talking about her releasing different versions of her latest album on the same release date as other artists' albums in order to stay at #1 on the charts. I don't really think Taylor is wrong for this, but some do.

@@SwiftieNation4You I’m not going to act like I have some deep understanding of her and her music on the level of her actual fans. I’ve never been a TS fan, and I have never really dived into her catalogue. What I have done, however, is grow up alongside her, witnessed every album release, and have watched her turn into the pop star she is today. She’s been one of the, if not THE biggest, artist on the planet for, what, 10 years now? Despite that, she’s still talking about “people bringing you down and trying to end your career” while literally accepting award after award, getting #1 spot after #1 spot. She’s literally a source of one of the largest carbon dumps into our atmosphere. Yet somehow, she’s ALWAYS the underdog. She’s had COUNTLESS amounts of public relationships, which have sometimes only lasted a month, that she’s exploited for her music, yet somehow, she’s ALWAYS the one that’s done dirty (at least that’s the perception she’s pushing). You just simply don’t go through that many relationships that end poorly with out being at least part of the reason for it. That’s not to discredit EVERYTHING (John Mayer and Jake Gyllenhaal never should have been with her and she’s totally within her rights to write about those relationships and how they affected her), but like, she still dated Matty Healy, meanwhile her character is somehow NEVER questioned despite literally being romantically involved with him. Joe Alwyn’s family has been doxxed and harassed because of her music. She literally outsmarted SCOOTER BRAUN, on of the most powerful music moguls of the 21st century, but like, we’re supposed to feel bad for her because she always gets the shit of the stick? Sure… Point is, she’s one of the most powerful celebrities on the planet, especially now since Drake is just… losing it. She was born into old money that gave her the massive privilege of starting her career when she did, and it’s only been up since. Yet, somehow, she wants us to believe that she’s had everything pitted against her. While there is some validity to it, simply from being a female celebrity, we’re getting sick of it. She’s literally Taylor Swift. What else does she even have to prove? Who else’s name does she need to drag in the dirt while saying she doesn’t say who her songs are about like it’s not totally obvious? Why does she need to usurp the accomplishment of way more deserving artists? Please, we’ve had enough. Not to mention that her Reputation era was literally a victimization of herself based on the perception she THINKS people have of her

@@ROOKIETHESTAR I generally would agree with this statement, but in TS’s case, I’d argue we have 11 albums of what goes through her head. Obviously you can’t take everything in her music as truth, but she absolutely uses her real life as a basis for most of her music. It has become quite revealing imo
