I didn’t know that! I’ve always just called it the jetty cork cause that’s what all the guys at the jetty always use. Good to know & thanks for watching
That cat really just living it's best life.😂 I personally think if you used a traditional fillet knife you wouldn't have had the issues you were showing during that clean segment. Just test out the Ugly Stick fillet knife once to see if it makes a difference. It's only like $20-$25 and super sharp.
I saw my boat out there at the end of the jetty! Was waiting for a video to pop up! 🤣 we only had luck with sharks. Would’ve loved to had all those sand trout as bait. Beautiful speck. We marked a bunch of fish that day. We even caught a shark on the anchor rope 👍🏼 keep up the good videos man, very educational and entertaining.
Yea man that day was extremely slow for whatever reason. At one point even the sand trout just stopped biting. I got very lucky to catch that speck! Thanks for watching and tight lines!
What size rod n reel did you use? I saw it said suppressor but I wasn’t able to see anything else. Thanks for the video very informative especially bleeding the fish
To be honest we just go a lot around this time of year. We had already been fishing a ton for sheepshead / waiting for jacks. So when the trout started to show up we were already in place. I also text with my friends and stuff they go a lot as well. You can check Facebook pages and stuff like that. My pops has a patreon where he gives up to date reports for where he’s been fishing but it costs like $5 I think.
That net is the furthest thing from quality haha. It’s broken on us twice now and we just keep fixing it. Just wanted to give you a fair warning but it’s called the Ego S2 Slider.
