My 1.8 is stage 2 I’m going big turbo I got a garret ar70 and I’m boring the engine 20 over thinking of k1 rods and obviously 20 over pistons, currently It’s a stage 2 reflect tune stage 2 southbend clutch, stage 3 motor mounts, rebuilt head, SPM intercooler, B&M short throw, k04 turbo, ECS intake, forge diverter, gonna get 630cc injectors and retuned After the new setup. stuck on finding the right oil feed and return lines, and a 44mm v-band wastegate for the tubular manifold I’m ordering. Btw, when I watched the 415 whp on stock longblock video, it gave me the full inspiration and motivation to build it
Nice build! I'm currently working with a 99 aeb longitudal. Maxed out on the stock turbo at 20 lbs. Pretty much every bolt on you can get. But you can only go so far with a tiny little hair dryer turbo. I'm trying to decide whether to go k04-015 or gt28 eliminator. I still want to daily it, and I don't want to put Rods & pistons in it at the moment. I wish I could ride in a k04 car and then a gt28 car back-to-back to feel the difference.
a gt28 would definatly make more power and you could do that on a stock engine. a tubular manifold some injectors a inline 255lph pump and a e85 tune would be a fun daily. and probably a clutch. and a lsd if it's in the budget!
Hey bro can you send me a list of what you have done to your jetta so I can do it to please I have the same car as you and I wanna do that to mine I would very much appreciate it
Hey buddy. I decided to go with the Fluidampr crankpully. I was wondering if you were able to use your existing accessory belt? Since it's on sale I figured I would give it a try since it seems like a very worthy mod! Thanks for any additional feedback!
Hey hp_enthusiast. How did you manage not to kill your engine with 378 torque. I Love your work man. I stumbled across your page looking for info on how to get 400hp from a stock Mk4 golf AGU. I just got me a golf mk4 and want to keep it stock too with only bolts ons for more horsepower. (budget tight build)
those coils are used in tons new Audi's/VW's cars too, I was told they're used in the older Audi R8's but couldn't guarantee that , either way they have a stronger spark so they're a good upgrade!
Thanks for the update and info on everything. That Fluidampr Crank Pulley looks like a worthy upgrade. Wish I would've sourced one during BF sales. What happened to the transmission and are you swapping for another stock transmission? Also, are you going to keep stock internals when you go for 35psi!! Looking forward to more updates!
sb parts dirrect sells them for 385 I think best price I found! and the trans broke they first time I tried to do a pull after beating on it at the drag strip. broke 2nd gear. that was a eha02j 5 speed and I have another stock egx02j 5speed that I'm going to swap my lsd into that will be the next video then back to the dyno to see what the stock engine is actually making on 35psi! then I'm going to build the engine 2.0l. arias pistons stroker crank brute rods. aeb head with full supertech springs and valvetrain and cat cams 3658s. and arp for everystud! really want a 650whp build!
people say the 6 speed is stronger than the 5 speed. I would stick with the 6 speed. just put a Lsd in it! I think people upgrade the shif forks in the 6 speed also.
it's a stock awp engine. The intake manifold is for a aeb head because I plan to upgrade to the aeb head in the future so i had to get a spacer to go from the big port intake manifold to the smallport head
@@mxz700MN That jetta is a stock awp with just a bigger turbo basically??? cuz i know u can push 300 with stock awp rods and pistons. thaats insaneee!!! dude i need to see this irl sometime haha
Crazy how people say you cant make that much power on stock everything, post the dyno day. And does your modifier do all the work or do you? My 1.8t isnt truning on. Only crankin and need some ideas other than "burn it, buy a new one" like ive been gettin
eliminate the easy things first like can you hear the fuel pump prime? and it's a team effort he does all the building and he installed the clutch and turbo kit, I did the suspension , bushings and wheel bearings and the interior and some other stuff. it's definatly a team effort!
From experience check voltage of the injectors, my stage 2 gti has done it twice, Only had 4 volts to injectors. Short in the wiring harness. Cant hurt to check. my buddies stage 1 Jetta did it to,
hp_enthusiast I just have to say I absolutely love your videos have watched all them a couple times, just love this car!!! Wished I could go full send like your car..Gonna Put Gt28rs in my soon as i can and push it...Keep on keeping on!!
