We get to put some big boost to the stock block 6.0! We some more suspension changes and put a radial on Michael Dickinsons 4D Motorsports built Nova for Funny Car Chaos at Penwell Knights Raceway. Brennan Dickinson organized a small tire shootout and with sponsors and entries was able to pay out over $4,000!

The staging configuration on that car is perfect. Love the sound of the 3 step.

@@SquirrelTuned I've been tempted to do it on my sbe 5.3 with an 85. But I'm fully lit in 3.7 seconds. So I leave it. You're an inspiration to me man! I'm trying to go 7s with my combination now.

@@MrMattman0127 Yeah there probably wouldn't be a big gain in doing it if you are already that quick. Still cool to play with though. And thanks man! Very few people in the 7s SBE, that is awesome. Good luck!

Good job putting radials on it at penwell even their no preps act better than most prepped tracks a radials a better choice at that track.

We actually think we may have been able to do better on slicks this time lol. It was the worst any of us have seen the track including no preps but I think it was mostly because of the rain and all that. Still happy with how the car did though for sure.

It's close. It is at a friend's getting finished up. Streetcarjoe, he has a channel and has a video or two with the car in it. I've been really busy lately and haven't been racing so I apologize for lack of content.

It's brennans stock block 6.0, tsp crank and rods and wiseco pistons. Tfs 235s and ca 625 studs.

so you have two s480s on a stock displacement 6.0? is it a twin t6 setup?

Yes sir that's correct. T4 s480s but still s480s. Turbos are meant for a dart 427 but the big motor had issues and this one was there.

@@SquirrelTuned I've got a silverado project I've built a forged stroker for with the goal of 1000 at the tires and was wondering if you think the s480 would be a good choice. I was thinking single t6 with the split flange .... I'm super novice in the turbo world

@@DavieJones_Lockr I'm not sure if a 80 could quite get it done for 1000whp on that big of a motor. I would go for a 485. I am a dealer for a couple turbo companies if you need any help I could definitely do that.

@@SquirrelTuned ahh..... forgot to mention it's a 365..... I stroked the 5.3 to 4.0 and just went 30 over to clean it up and keep some wall thickness...... so NOT. a 408

@@DavieJones_Lockr I gotcha that is what I always assume. Will make it farther with that CI then. Might be able to get to 1000 to the tire with an 80. If you already have the turbo I would run it and see. Can always upgrade later.

Staying pretty busy. Unfortunately youtube gets pushed to the side a little when that happens if it isn't something that is content as well like this or my car. Have some more videos and things on my car in the works though.

13 psi would’ve been the tire pressure I think. It was getting up on the tire

The tire pressure it was at or pressure to go to? I believe we would have wadded the tire up too hard and gone into tire shake then spin going that low with the amount of power we were putting to it.

Keep the tune, play with the shoes.. the powers there just apply it to the ground..

@@treyivey5431 I did consider dropping it. But in my experience too low of pressure can be an issue on a radial like I mentioned. Wrinkle the tire too much then cause it to shake/spin. Especially when you are hitting it pretty hard with seperation and power.

😂😂😂 Don't do that! I've been swamped helping get things planted on the family farm I barely had time to get the car ready to go get wired. I did though hint hint. 😉 Didn't get to do much any filming though unfortunately. But it will be worth it in time!
