I kept running my trx4m high trail like a crawler and realized I just wasn't having too much fun with it. So I gave up and started treating it like a mud truck and ended up having a blast with it. That's what this truck is meant to do!
LOVE IT! I had to copy it on mine! Its a freakin blast! Thanks for the axle suggestion! I also bought the Injora monster truck tires and I tell ya, makes the truck look just like the original Big Foot! lol Now I have those same wheels (in brass) on mine and the 74mm tires.
Thanks very much 👍 It makes such a difference doesn't it and I love the look. 👍😎 Really dry here atm, once we get some more rain and mud I'll be testing the DJ Crawler tyres too. 👍
Nice test, it’s an idea to take it and with other modifications (large axle and 59mm shocks) the mini mud truck will be a beast. If you would testing, the meus two speed gearbox with injora pro 180 48t and mb100 esc is really really fun for speed and crawl
Great video Rob 👍🏻 That rig looks incredible now! Just curious though- it’s a lot louder now than stock. Is the noise coming from the new portal axles?
Thanks very much 👍 It's because I fitted the low range gears. My TRX4M Defender is the same. Without the low range gears I find the TRX4M pretty much useless, as it just gets stuck on everything. Downside to the low range gears is the noise and its super slow. 👍
Nice vid ibdo want one but if i did i would probally go mad as i just got a trx4 defender and have spent to much on it. If i ever go mudding i cover the ventillation holes with a small bit of duct tape it work for my trx4. Love the vids keep it up
Thanks very much 👍 Yeah I normally run non vented wheels for mudding, thought about seaking these, but they have three weird holes and was planning on trying different foams anyway. 👍
