Yeah, 2nd gen was crazy even with less internet at that time, tech was still poor no streaming sites, no bots farms, much less apps etc .. we were so poor fandom struggling to find contents with Eng Subs 🤣🤣🤣 Besides Gangnam Style, most played/heard in public kpop song here is SuJu Sorry Sorry BTS is big, but their songs got no public airplay here, people know of BTS but not the songs I'm VIP but even I admit Sorry Sorry was VIRAL with the choreo also (GS aside, it was another level bruh) In my country, during presidential campaign, one candidate was making promo song/ parody with BB song ... it humored us VIP 😅

Same! I can hardly believe it was their debut stage when I first saw it. I had trust issues with the video title as they definitely did not perform like rookies. 😂 They look so experienced! And yes, live singing since day 1 💛 it's also fun seeing them dance seriously and so in sync (coz they abandoned it shortly after debut) 😂 I love them. Hahaha. It's so awesome watching their "humble" beginnings... Their style/flow/vocals, everything so young and fresh, no lip syncing (you can tell by how their vocals were still in development and getting stronger)... And, this Big Bang made K-Pop what it is today... Can you imagine if there was no BB and how K-pop probably would not have included rap or english lyrics - like it does now...

the beginning of Big Bang make me cry, the media didnt like them at first 😢 bc they are not "handsome" according to k-standard. There were the groups with the height,group dancing skill, nice charming like SUJU, 2PM, DBSK,.... I remember the very first variety show they took part in "Super man/ Xman" the host is Kang Ho Dong, he was so hard for BB though
