Bigfoot 1300mm RTF With Vector Stabilization Shakedown Pilot Ryan Get your Ready to Fly Bigfoot here through my affiliate link: bit.ly/BigFootRTF Here's some of our other Bigfoot Videos: • Arrows RC 1300mm Big F... www.PilotRyanMedia.com
the Bigfoot is a great flying STOL plane for a beginner and also can teach how best to use flaps...the larger wheels can handle rough surfaces and grass nicely and LED's are always nice to have at dusk......now that I have a little more experience, I would really like to see a Bigfoot version II capable of using 4S for bit more power .......I bought the original PNP model, but if there would have been a RTF, with stabilization version sold at that time, I would have grabbed it...nice flying demonstration as usual...thanks
the motor and they speed control will handle a 4s battery, I have the same system in my 1300mm cub and it works fine, I use a 4s in most of my planes with no problem----just don't run it wide open for long periods.----4s 1300 ma about the same weight as a 3s 2200ma
Ryan great flying and Bobby K awesome video. What an amazing plane for the beginner pilot. 55 years ago I would have loved to have one. Many crashes to learn RC Flying. ✈️😎💝💝
ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT!! You be holdin out on me. The new EFLITE 80mm F16 looks and sounds sick. Looks exactly like my freewing 90mm f16 but without the alien flashing lights that I hate. But definitely my next purchase for the old hanger.
So how many planes did it take to make this video? LOL. Just kidding. That RTF version looks cool. The radio looks like it would fit a kids hand like a glove. Well done my friends. 👍👍
In my short time getting into rc planes, a little over a month, this is the first rtf plane with flaps I’ve noticed. And for a great price . I guess it’s back ordered right now
Many thanks for your review and great flying . Just pushed the button to buy one and can I please ask when you deploy the flaps before landing ? Is it on final approach or on the base leg or downwind ? I’d really appreciate any advice .
Hi Ryan, Great video, thanks for all the tips. I’ve just got a Bigfoot but without the radio so had to set it up on my RadioMasterTX16S with a RadioMaster R86C receiver. I connected to it with the SBUS lead but cannot get flaps. I setup the model on the TX on Channel 5 to a 3-way switch. I noticed that the flaps & ailerons are wired in to the same plug which is in the aileron slot on the vector unit. Don’t understand that. Any suggestions where the problem may be? Nigel.
My big foot has been thru a few crashes replaced 2 servos broke off one of the struts, so it looks like H***. I propped it down so I could run it on 4S. I use an Admiral receiver with stabilization. Still flies really well. Inverted is easy, it can knife edge has enough power to do a reasonable loop Would always recommend this plane.
How similar to SAFE is the Arrows stabilization? Does it add in elevator and rudder on turns in stabilized mode, or just a self level after you let off
@@PilotRyanMedia Dang sweet... If I had $$$ to buy one right now, I'd throw it on the PRM link for Arrows.. Like a month ago! Oh, have I got a list...🤠👍
I got a Bigfoot and a Timber. The bigfoot is smoother and its a top feeder. I've crashed the bigfoot into trees and unfortunate incidence's with gravity, She still fly's like when it was new. I put a 40 amp ESC in it with a 10" prop and only fly it on 4S. Totally a STOL plane
wondering, I use the NX6 so could I or did you bind this plane with another TX? I know you wanted to show the supplied TX during your shakedown but if you keep this plane will you use a diff TX? Thx....
@@claudeladow2334 I believe that all the original versions of the Arrows RTF planes used FrSky but I do know that the Pioneer now has shifted to a different protocol from the original FrSky D8. Thus you have to watch out if you are ordering spare boards/transmitters. I don't know what the new protocol is but it MIGHT be possible that it could be a Spektrum protocol since Horizon Hobby is retailing them in America. Check around with someone who has 1 in hand. (We don't! 😉)
I ALWAYS NOSE LEVEL OR DIP BEFORE CUTTING POWER W/FLAPS! Remember to have a 💩, not a deep shi*-nap.. *Always nose down when applying power w/flaps.. will fly level even with nose down .. will be very stable, but slightly awkward to see😳..😁👍GOOD FLYIN'RYAN!! BOBBY K, 💩👍ALMOST GOT INVERTED TEARS @ THAT ONE POINT..
