Arrows RC has recreated this backcountry workhorse - from rivet lines and body panels to the predictable STOL flight characteristics - without overlooking any detail when creating the Husky 1800mm.

6s is definitely the way to go on this bird. The 3d possibilities are ridiculous. Then mix in the slow flying characteristics and that is a receipe for a great plane! AWESOME offering from arrows!

Nice flying. Some really nice video with that pink sky in the background. Funny you should mention the wheels but now that you did... If I were to ever get the plane I'd put bigger wheels on to get more of a STOL look even at the expense of some performance.

Looking great Ryan and Bobby! That’s a good looking paint scheme. 4S looked *more* than enough with the 9-inch take of roll and nice vertical. Does it all including knife edge. 6S is insane! Great sound, verticals, and speed. I was thinking the same thing about the wheels, but that is easy to fix. The battery should come back up to resting voltage after a bit. Bobby did a great job on the camera Didn’t miss a beat. Nice job!

It looks cold outside, but damn the husky is HOT! Great flying guys. I thought 4S was pretty good but on 6S she is a monster. Last thing was was Mike out in the field???

We are usually on high end I pads cause we are at work in trucks , sometimes the links show other times they don’t.

Very "cool" flight and plane there Ryan! Man I'm fighting getting one when available as I really like the paint scheme and how she looks and flies on multiple voltages! Definitely will have to wait till Thursday and see what's being released and sounds sweet! Great camerawork by Bobby as well! Thumbs up! Best regards to both!

Ryan, Bobby. Mighty Fine! I saw Rich’s video on this one and was wondering how it would be on 6s👍👍. Love them doggone lights! Glad to see more lights being included on RC planes these days. Sweet. “More like Bouncengoes” HAHA. Hey-if you got a watt meter let us know what it’s pulling on 6s. I’m curious on amp draw. I gotta feeling it can take it. Just have to be more careful with max throttle on those warm summer days. 🔥🔥👊😊. Update-I see the description for this model doesn’t show that it has stabilization. Will that be extra? Thanks.

This is a new version (Husky SE - Special Edition). A few changes compared to the original including gyro, updated power system rated to 5S and a few others. I’m curious to see what Pilot Ryan does to run it on 6S. Super cool plane!

Also easier to accommodate the 6s in cold conditions, have you tried that full throttle climb out on 6s in summer heat?

Hmm I wasn't interested in this plane because I don't fly 5s, then I saw this video with 6s and it became more likely. I use bush planes for utility work in club contests, spot landings, bomb drops, and one where we tow a plastic pumpkin through bowling pins, and 6s may do that job nicely. 4s4000, 6s4000smart, or 6s5000?

One of the problems of Rc pilots in winter is freezing hands. How do you deal with it?We have a plexiglass box with candles in Moscow. Personally I have a zippo hot water bottle

Has this plane held up under 6s loads since you initially did their video? I see there’s an ultimate version now but I have the special. Handling 6s once is one thing doing it over time is another. Also you had 7% elevator on flaps in the video but said in a comment you do 11 and 22 for half and full?

I start at 22 percent down at full flap and 11 down at half as a default on high wing planes

Why on earth and all what's holy would you need a stabiliser in that model?!?!? Can't people fly anymore? I resently bought a Carbon Z cub bnf in orange: It dosen't fly piper but ok. But if I use the as3x receiver... dialed in but NO fun and somehow strange... I bought the fms ranger 1800 unpluged the stabiliser right out of the box. Flys like a dream! Aded 100g of weight for propper cg 😂 got my fms piper 1700 inbound can't wait to unplug the stabilizer. No one needs SAFE and there is bearly a need for stabilisation. Get skill or stay down. That new stuff should fly great by itself, a descent pilot and not because of electronic whitchcraft.

I disagree. SAFE is an excellent learning tool that helps get new folks interested in this hobby in the air successfully. Flight sims help too in that regard. Then with experience turn it off retain full control and you’re good to go. I learned using SAFE (flew with instructor at my flying field for 2-3 months) and now I fly almost anything without it but still program SAFE when available for that first flight or as a get out of jail free card. And as for flying in the wind, sure I can do it without a stabilizer but I’ll take a stabilizer system (AS3X) all day long if given a choice. Different strokes for different folks. Fly what you like and how you like it. 👍

@@dandanthedandan54321 I agree with fly as you like it. BTW I learned it alone only with real flight and a umx icon ! first flight off water! And how did the pilots learn to fly in the old days? BUT in case of mentioned fms models. Now you don't have a choise, they come stabilized and of course with the cost. Friend of mine said if there would be a naked version, completly without electronics he would buy one. But he dosen't need all that stuff and the new model is now way more and way too expensive!

@@markusnachname1619 plenty of PNP planes, can take system out & hook up your own Rx..lot of options, sometimes planes are directly marketed to newbies, & survival of plane to the point of learning proper flight reaction/control is paramount to overall success, experienced pilots can manage best once they see what they are working with.. oh the Shi# I do with SAFE.. BUT ITS ONLY INSURANCE..ACTS FASTER THAN REFLEXES IN WEEDS@60+MPH, DOESN'T FLY THE PLANE YOU DIRECT IT EITHER WAY!😁👍
