You have an amazing talent for building and flying these aircraft. You have inspired my next build. If I can get it as good as this I will be totally satisfied. 😆👍
Wow, what a flyer! Reminds me of a sting ray in the water by the slow eloquent maneuvering. Does exactly what you tell it to do. Looks like you did everything right with this one! Very inspiring.
Option 1. Buy a kit for $30 to $150. Electronics not included. Build it and hope to works as good as what they show in their advertisements. Option 2. For less than $4 build your own. Brilliant design. great piloting. You definitely got a thumbs up.
I've noticed that some batches of fanfold are a lot wavier than others. There are no "spars" for stiffening. All that external bracing with skewers does the job. And they're cheap! On the bottom of the skids I hot glued some 14" zip ties with the locking heads cut off.
Hi Marty, I hot glued 14-inch zip ties (without the locking heads) on the bottom of the skids. They will last longer than the model. Yep; the holes are to reduce area in front of the CG so it won't try to swap ends. I should rename it the "Swiss Cheese Delta". 8-)
Sorry Les, I have no plans, but you can scale-up the measurements shown at the end of my video titled "Big Slow Delta RC Indoors". Those measurements are for the 40 inch span. The 48 inch version uses an Exceer RC Rocket Series 2215-1500 which is a 300 watt 480 size motor available at Hobby Partz Dot Com.
Hey do you have the plans or something? that's small and slow enough to fly it in my backyard and maybe my kids can start learning the basics with it Thanks
please can you give me dimensions and some details about components(motor's rating , MAH of battery , propeller size ) you used , actually I am a beginner and don't have enough money for experimental usage ..........lol
As a beginner, perhaps you should try a more traditional model. More info on this model at the end of this video... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2sY8xjIjq3I.html
hi there ! great job! ..its simply balancing........amaging. !! i just wonder how 700 gms landed so smoothly....!! may i have some idea about your plan nd materials..??can i use my 800 kv for this? what is the prop size? well done man!!
That is too much fun man! I'll cut out my copied version of the airframe tonight. (It's only .... ten thrity seven! Maybe I can even finish the glueing too!
+baadindyan Can't see any reason why you couldn't. Wing loading is light; don't have any numbers. Made for slow flight; not very fast. Will fly in a single-court gymnasium.
I have been watching this video for last one year.I tried several times to make something like it, but they don't fly smoothly like yours.I would be grateful if you kindly disperse your knowledge and skill.please send me the photos and size in metric. Thanks a lot.
bonjour a tout le monde : quelqu'un pourrait me dire ou se trouve le centre de gravité.j'ai une vive intention de construire cette aile. je vous remercie. hello everyone: someone could tell me where the center of gravity is. I have a strong intention to build this wing. Thank you.
Gosp Bane to su sve rucni radovi. Imam jedan gotov ali ne tako spor. Uskoro ce bit jedan jednako spor kao ovaj u videu pa cemo vam dati da ga upravljate preko ucenicke stanice.
