Biggest Muskie Caught on Camera? - Lake St Clair 

Thanks brotha, there was a little boat traffic today because it was beautiful out, but lately not very much boat traffic, I also mainly fish during the week.... I didn't see not one musky angler in the area, remind you this was Monday, yesterday during the week, not the weekend, I think the fish can sense that so they turn on... Conditions really weren't that great, no clouds, barely any wind... I was casting the Strike King 8.0 for like 2 hours, nothing, soon as a switched to rubber, bam, white "12 Chaos Posseidon!!! Robbie and Lee from Todays Angler was right, this is very effective lure, I honestly think the Posseidon is a lot better than the Water Wolf Shadzilla, because it rolls and shimmies back and forth more, probably the best swimbait on the market! I had just worked 16 hours at work, so it took me forever to get out of bed... Glad I finally did, just can't imagine how many I would of got if I got out there earlier.. I went 2 for 3 today! That 47" Tiger and this 53" 1/4 monster, fuckin' GATOR!

Yeah I've been watching robbie and Lee for years now and they're the ones that turned me back on to musky fishing, and I big rubber heck pretty much anything this time of year is year is possible to catch them on as they're strapping on the feed bags! Hell last year I raised a giant (probably around high 40's) right in front of the launch at Harley ensign on the large whopper plopper on November 4th! unfortunately wasn't paying attention and was mostly just making a few last cast as a joke because my dad and I were about to take the boat out for the year. Followed all the way to the boat and panicked and didn't figure 8 properly. Approximately where were you at? I don't want specific location or anything just, depth and what kind of cover were you locating fish at lately? Unfortunately tendinitis in my elbow has kept me off the lake this whole year 😢but with physical therapy I'm good to go, finally! My dad and I were going to shoot for Friday but we're at the mercy of the Michigan weather so we'll see. Awesome catch and that tiger was absolutely gorgeous! Tight lines brother!

@@ericsfishingadventures4433 yeah Robbie and Lee are the best, Lee was on Monsterquest with James Linder, loved that episode, using an underwater drone too! Doug Wegner is great too! Only about 10 feet of water, about 300 yards out from Spillway, they seem to be pretty loaded up this fall. No kidding whopper plopper, gotta pick some of those up, I do have a few topwater prop baits like the Fat Bastard and Top Raider, I gotta start using them more often... Yeah sometimes I get a little inflammation in my joints, I'll use some CW hemp from Better Health, along with epsom salt baths, keeps me going... Keep at it man, never give up, tight lines!

@@EternalAngler no kidding, the spillway huh? I've fished many times as it's known for holding a lot of fish of multiple species, never personally succeeded there. Out in front of the metro park beach, when you can locate cover /vegetation this time of year I've seen quite a few there. About 200-300 yrds out. 8-10ft. But cover is always key It seems as most of it is /has died off.

That's my goal then, I gotta beat 58 lol, ordering me up a bigger bumper board right now. Thanks, yes LSC is magical, I hope the next 60 incher comes from LSC!!!

@EternalAngler If you want to beat a 58"er, you need to fish with Marc Thorpe in Quebec, He netted that 58"er and prob more fish over 55" every year than any other guide on this big beautiful planet...Good luck on your chase, I'm on the same path👊

@@longline80 dude Wow, yeah I'll look him up, thank you so much, I'd love to go over to some of the Canadian provinces just to fish for pike, majority of pike are stunted here in the US. MUSKY FISHING BEST SPORT IN THE WORLD, I don't even play hockey or baseball anymore, musky 24/7... Alligator Gar, Sturgeon and Tarpon look fun though, but a lot of that is live bait fishing which is boring, Tarpon I would try though!
