He just got burned out, kind of focusing on job and life, kind of like 1rod1reel... I'm trying to get him back out fishing once I get Humminbird Mega360 and Garmin Livescope LVS62 installed on my boat for bass and musky fishing, but we'll see... Still talk to him every day, he's doing good! I take breaks here and there too, but I'm still addicted to fishing, especially musky. I'd be out musky fishing more, but my boat is down currently getting electronics installed. And just been bass fishing over at kent here and there. Yeah man, I learned a lot from Arcasting too, he got me hooked on Megabass lures and baitcasters, he's definitely upped my fishing game! We are both a huge fan of Shimano!! He's also a big fan of import cars too, I'm more of a muscle car guy but love all cars, he used to do some car videos here and there with his fishing videos, but stopped...

@@dkim.2062 I’m right here man and I’m doing well! I got burned out on fishing, filming and uploading every day so I turned my focus from RU-vid to things in real life. More specifically owning a home and finding a wife. I will make another video soon(ish) just be patient.
@@Arcasting1 It's so great to hear from you! Seriously, I learned so much from you and I enjoyed our interactions in your comment section. If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be the fisherman I am today. I too got burned out from fishing and I started focusing on my life, unfortunately I sold all my Shimano reels and other bass gear. But I'm back fishing when I can, having a good time, and looking to buy one or two more Shimano reels haha. Like I said, always one of your biggest fans and appreciate you being a teacher not just to me, but to others as well. Thank you for all of your videos and until we meet again.
