Video probably made by some millenial English people in this channel who thinks the world revolves around them and football existed only in the past 20 years.
@@CarassiusAu he has he’s chance now, he is back in serie a and played 4 matches scoring 3 goals I think we need to wait a bit to know if he wasted it all or not.
Biggest one season wonder in Brazilian football that I remember was Hernane. He went from 4th division side Mogi Mirim to Flamengo (top flight and one of the biggest clubs in Brazil) in 2012. In 2013 he simply scored 36 goals in 58 matches and helped his (at the time) financially troubled club to clinch the Brazilian Cup in a surprising campaign. He had other seasons with a good number of goals after that, but only for teams that were in 2nd division (Sport and Bahia). Now he's 36-yo and playing for non-league side Lemense He gained the nickname of 'Brocador' (something like 'The Driller') and the media discussed if he should be called up to the Brazilian National team, but he wasn't)
I remember Coco at Inter. He's actually gooa attacking wingback BUT his fitness level killed off his chances for a comeback. Playing close to 4 season at Inter proof that he has what it takes at the top level. If only he has the medical team of present day Inter have he might stood a chance.
Most of these strikers played in 4-4-2 system and you cant count only their statistics but controbution to the team and thats why Santa Cruz and Grafite should not be on this list, you better mention Ivan Klasnic or Soren Larsen and of course Ailton…
So ricketts is labelled a “one season wonder” with 12 goals in a season yet teemu pukki at 3:52 is sighted as a premier league failure, despite the fact he got 11 goals in a season with one of the worst premier league teams in history. That makes no sense to me at all and this video sucks
marco negri is a good 1 from rangers 97-98 season, 23 goals in first 10 games, finished season with 32 league goals in 30 games, then injured his retina, after the first season he only played 4 more first team games for rangers.
Josip Drmic for FC Nurnberg in 13-14 season scored 17 league goals - 3rd result in Bundesliga after Lewa and Mandzukic yes, he got only injures in Bayer Leverkusen but he never be the same as he used to be
Santa Cruz wasn't a one hit wonder in Germany. What is this guy talking about? Grafite on the other hand was a one hit wonder. His best season was with Wolfsburg.
you should say "in premiere league history" instead of "in football history" in your video titles, because you mostly only talk about premiere league teams/players. but they're great anyway!
