Beautiful park, and so are the crows (!). The "I've seen this before, but have no clue what it is" I think are iris. The beautiful flowers with the bees I think were peony. The giant weeping tree was I think a weeping Katsura. I saw some what looked like labels on trees. As an educational space, parks should have a space where they identify plants and animals and maybe some nature information on the ecosystem, as well as possible information on the gardening or care of the plants.

Hey pretty boy 😉😋. This park is SO BIG. I live in a town that is settled in forests and the ocean. I've lived in cities but never seen a park this big before! Those talllllll trees were amazing and my favorite. What a nice way to spend time.
Yeah! It doesn't seem so big on a map but once you start walking through it, it's pretty big. But there are other cities with wayyyyyy larger parks, such as Central Park in NYC. It's like 2 or 3 times larger than this park. Thanks for watching Bri! See you in the next video~
Watched to the end, beautiful park, nice and peaceful, near where I live we have a lovely park, you can also go across a big bridge over a railway track which leads to a river, then follow the path along the canal, it can take an hour and a half to walk, it's amazing, you see countryside all around you 😀

Yeah! Pretty cool huh? I wish I knew more about fish. I used to have like 30 fish in my private rooftop pond in Vietnam. I hope they're all OK still. hehehe
@@CoryMay81 Have you seen pictures of the massive pet gold fish that have been released into bodies of water in the States? They're an ecological disaster here, but so cute! Fish are pretty resilient so I hope those fishies in Vietnam are still okay. Can't get over how clean and how well maintained the parks are in Japan. Thank you again for another great video!
Oh damn! That's it... Gunpowder! hahaha yeah, I used to go there all the time to walk my dog, John Wayne. Roland Park also had a good spot with a trail if you crossed the tracks toward the lake there.
I always visit this park when I go to Japan. The foliage in the fall is really nice. So weird they don't have a bridge that goes across from the Tokyo side to the Saitama side and you'd have to walk all the way around.

That's a good question! I don't think so. There doesn't seem to be any venue area to have one and I'm guessing, just from experience of visiting there many times, that it's just not a thing. The outdoor type of weddings that are popular in the U.S. aren't so popular here. There are probably some people that come here to do engagement or wedding photo shoots, though. But the actual ceremony is held somewhere else, like a wedding hall. Thanks for watching, Amanda! See ya in the next video~

Dude, my wife loves Liliuokalani Park in Hilo because it's kind of clean but also, everyone is cool. The park your at is it's grandparent. I wish we had more like it in Hawaii. Too many homeless & mentally disturbed individuals flown in, in the past 20 years or so🥺. Sorry...anyways...love the content brah!!!🙏🤙🤙🤙
Oh really? The park down on Banyan Drive? If I remember correctly, that part was built in the 1910's or 1920's. But this one was built in 1965. So Liliuokalani Park is actually much older. hehehe Anyways, thanks for watching!

I just found your channel a couple of days ago and I really love your walk around videos :) I've loved Japan since I was a teenager, and turning 33 next month; I still haven't made my way there....yet! I'm hoping Japan will be back open for tourism by late fall or even winter as I'm hoping to make my way there. Fun fact, Mizumoto park is 238 acres compared to Central Park in NYC is 843 acres 😮 very cool! Anyways, just wanted to say hi and keep up all that you do, and here's to 100k by the end of the year! 🥳

@@ilmarinen79 Oh! I just looked up muskrat and that's exactly what it was! I've seen many huge rats in my life, especially in Washington DC and Vietnam. So while that one looked like a rat in the water, I knew it wasn't a rat. But I couldn't think of muskrat. Thanks! Def a good wildlife spot. Cheers!
