Kristen and I ran the Bighorn 100-mile race in Wyoming on June 18th, 2021. This course is known for its huge climbs and copious amounts of mud! However, this year we were met with 100+ degree temps and little mud (but plenty of dust)!
Given the high temps (and the fact that this was our first 100-mile race), we opted to run conservatively, finishing in about 32 hours. The ultimate goal was to finish and that's exactly what we did!
If you're are looking for a beautiful course with lots of aid stations, this is the 100 for you! The race was well organized and the trail was well marked. Thanks to all that made this race happen!
