Should? Maybe. I have it wired on the left side on another bike and tbh - i don’t think it really matters. It lights the road and cars can see it and ive got reflective stuff elsewhere. The fork doesn’t really have wiring outlets so you could prob do it either way. Its a 650b and no, thats not why it the chainstays are long, they are long because they are long lol
Hey Ak how would you compare this bike to your romanceur? for what type of riding would you go for the romanceur, & for what type of riding would you go for the Atlantis?
Thanks for the great question. For the Romanceur, i’m most likely on road and rough roads with lighter gravel sections. With the Atlantis, its roads, gravel, mtn sections. I think of the Romanceur as a more chill all road bike and the Atlantis as a more chilled out rigid mountain bike if that makes sense.
I think the 40T was stretching this derailleur. Tbh, I didn’t get to that as the smallest gear was not even working, so I just returned. I can say the 36T works great on my other bike!
Hi Jason, still have it on there and it is working okay. I’d say if you have it already, give it a go and see. I don’t recommend buying it as there is some inaccurate shifts at times when going from big to small chainring. I give it a 7 out of 10….if that helps with anything.
