Love it! Loved the hot air balloon drama in the last one, and had to watch this one to find out what happened after. Happy adventure wishes to you both.
@@lws7394 sometime it's hard not because you're shy or something but because you have the feeling to be dependent to someone else and make your trip on others kindness. But yeah I do it time to time
Yeah we adjust the heights when necessary not much slipping of seat post which is almost expected after 100+ km between servicing the bikes ourselves. We carry also spare seat post clamp, quick releases, and other parts that may wear out but nothing has worn beyond repair so far except tyres/tubes
Yes stumbled on your channel the other day I have caught up on yout folding bike tour enjoying it intresting ride you had there 🤣 industrial wasteland to beautiful green spaces have fun look forward to the next episode I ride a folding bike as well as mtb which is my number one 😁 Ride Hard Ride Safe
Thanks for joining the ride!! The road will take us further to new and unknown adventures as long as we don’t run out of water everything will be sweet 👍
I don't blame Mel for pushing over those steel puncture traps. The thing I try and avoid the most when riding is having to stop and change a tyre (I'm not that good at it), and am a heavy guy, so more risk. Anything even remotely looking like that I'll be off in a jiffy and lightening the load - even on something like sharp flint
“Industrial heritage “ is how it was referred to in the guides. I’m sure there are lots of places like it in Europe, UK, USA, but I had never seen it before like this. Very interesting!
@@hobocyclist i know what you mean It actually takes away from alot of the enjoyment of just going off the side of a road somewhere into some scrub or a bit of bush ... Perhaps theres some way to better deter them For me it was a daily hell Constantly having to be lookout for ticks and checking yourself before getting into my tent , checking inside my tent , its pretty crazy how much they actually chase you and i swear they were literally dropping down from the trees that were there Massive pain Im gonna need a tick solution if im going back outside for sure
@@treaceeames4697 DEET around the ankles can help but yeah still wont solve the problem of them getting through everything. they cant live without a host so eliminate the host? I always just walk into places where animals have been bedded down like "this looks like a good place to camp.."
