Scotland and the Highlands - who doesn’t want to go on a bike trip there?
My friends Erik and Benni and me were looking for a wild off-road adventure, and what better place to go than Scotland!
Since we like riding off the paved roads, we planned a 3-week route on gravel roads, hiking trails and with lots of bike pushing.
The first week took us through the Highlands on the mainland with its wide grass plains and purple heather, and we got to know the lovely Scottish people - and the midges, insects that were eating us alive!
Since the different landscapes of Scotland all deserve their own videos, there are three in total from this 3-week Scotland trip: The first one about our week in the Cairngorms on the mainland, the second one from the 10 days on the Outer Hebride Islands, and the third one about the Isle of Skye. They're all worth the watch:)
