It's presently signed as a byway at both ends on Google Street View. I think she knew that it was a road but instead chose to exercise prejudice against me because I was legally using it in a way that she disapproved of.
people walk in the nature for some peace and quiet AWAY from the noisy streets and cities and then along comes your noisy ass destroying that calm. Legal or not it's your lack of sensitivity to your surrounding that prevent you from enjoying the nature without your disruptive toy .
@@siriosstar4789 I respect your view but I think your comment shows a bit of a lack of knowledge around the rights of way system in the UK. There are literally thousands if not millions of miles of footpaths and bridleways for everybody to enjoy the calm and nature you mention. Although it might look like this walker was on a footpath, she was actually walking along a very ancient road which at some point in it’s long history managed to escape being tarmacked. I know it might look odd seeing a motorcycle in that environment but it’s legal, and it’s perfectly right these rights of way exist for the benefit of those who might need vehicles to enjoy them (I ride with a disabled person who uses an adapted motorcycles). The benefits of peace and nature which rights of way afford is not just the privilege of the able bodied. Unclassified roads and byways where you can expect to see 4x4s and motorcycles make up only around 1-2% of the rights of way network, so please cut us some slack, and consider that the person behind the helmet is not out to offend or disrupt anyone, but experience the same peace and nature as you.
@@siriosstar4789 I am a walker and often choose to walk these ancient roads - but I have the civility and knowledge to recognise that these are indeed roads - I do not therefore castigate other road users. As walkers we have 95% of paths to ourselves - why are some of us so belligerent and greedy that we wish to deny legitimate users of the few remaining byways. These old roads are part of our history and their diverse use keeps this alive and meaningful, before bikes there were heavy carts - for millennia. Please try and see further than the end of your own nose and have some tolerance and manners. One other thing - if you really think the countryside is some sort of calm quiet paradise you are both profoundly unobservant and naive. I'm quite sure that if the field was being ripped up by a ten ton combine harvester spewing diesel everywhere you would not bat an eyelid and neither would 'lady muck' in this video.
So it's okay for her to allow her dog to explore - not on a lead - but you're not allowed to enjoy trail biking.............she just wants that space for herself, right?!
Not long found your channel but love your content and you excellent manner in which you deal with the strollers, again people behind the helmets are only human, I think SOME walkers see this as a right to attack and as you rightly mention, upon removal of your helmet seem a little more relaxed. Keep it up

@@peteraston4753 The point is there's 98% of non vehicle rights of way in the countryside. That being footpaths, bridleways and restricted byways. Nobody is forced through lack of choice to walk on a byway open to all traffic or a UCR. For example, I don't like football, I don't seek to stop others enjoying it. I just avoid football pitches.
Jesus we only have about 5% of UK trails left that are legal to ride and she still not happy !,glad you were pleasant though as only takes one local mp,s Mrs sworn at to get the trail closed .
i hate the fact these people live in a area and no nothing about it but seem to think they are correct coz they live there the councils need to fix up and sign post lanes so we dont have this confrontation all the time
i think they have a BIG effect but i fear it may be in there favour as while we are protesting alot of people are getting very annoyed at the 20mph limit we cause huge tailbacks we are just demonstrating that we will be on the tarmac if our lanes close and through little villages it was a big turn out on the 20th and i think it is worse because its a national park i think prohibition of 4x4 will favour very well as i have acctually seen them cause big ruts unlike bikes which float over lol
@@bradley2427 The bike rider had to ask the owner to call the dog back because it kept wandering in front of the bike. That is demonstrably NOT under control. The dog owner was at fault, yet demonstrated the attitude that she believed she was in the right, and expressed her opinion about his right to ride there.
@@bradley2427 Ignorance is no defence - also I don't suppose this was her first walk on that byway. Could of been of course - the man on the bike has politely educated her if that is the case. Good for him.
I've watched a few of these clips now and it's changed my PC algorithms. I'm now getting recommended Benny Hill clips, Bernard Manning, the best of Only Fools And Horses, futile macho stuff and safari animals fighting and killing. What does that say?
thats the problem we face just because they dont like it we suffer they appeal to the council and it just gets a TRO its not fair our hobby is slowly but surely dieing out :(
Fight back in court when the nimbies are abusive or harassing. They need to be curbed. One generation of petty minded and entitled creatures should not be allowed to interfere with millennia of history and ancient rights of way. I am a walker not a trail rider - but I will defend the rights of others to carry on their lawful and reasonable recreation.
The usual crybaby argument. it's been a proven fact that motorcycles cause little damage to byways. some of the worst and most damaged Rights of ways i have been on walking are footpaths. so take your uneducated argument and shove it.
