The goose story stands as one of the great stories told of all time. 🤣

Bill Bailey is an amazing human being, truly talented… to learn new musical instruments is extraordinary and yet he remains so humble, kind, with astonishing wit and intellect and remains a thoroughly a lovely man. Thank you Bill.

I’m so happy to have been born at a time where I would have an easy way to become familiar with all sorts of people who would never have shown up on American television, and Bill Bailey is one of them. He’s funny, he’s a fabulous musician, and he’s chock full of interesting tidbits-a 21st century man-of-all-trades, as it were…

Imagine having Bill in your local pub. Few beers and a jamming sessions.

One of my favorite Bill Bailey moments was when he crushed Piers Morgan. Piers made a joke that was a riff on something Eddie Izzard had said but no one laughed. Piers wondered out loud why his joke went flat but Eddie’s scored and Bill said, “Well, people like Eddie”.

Bill Bailey is, hands-down, my favorite comedian, living or dead.

National treasure. Totally unique.

What makes me laugh about the "Bill Bailey dead" story is that QI posted a video at about the same time as this video with a similar pose of Bailey as the thumbnail. Seeing the two right next to each other had me worried and I googled to make sure he didn't just die before watching them in case these were in tribute.

I would love to have 1/10 of Bill Bailey's skill, when it comes to playing musical instruments. He is what is known as 'pitch perfect!' A natural skill, that only occurs with 1 in 10,000 people, and it is a natural ability, and not something you can learn.

The Bill Bailey who died in Kentucky was my step-grandfather.

I see a lot of social media posts proclaiming this person or that person must be protected. Utter nonsense. It's only applicable to Bill Bailey. The man is unique and a national treasure. There is no other comedian as good as him on observational comedy apart from Billy Connolly and he only plays the Banjo! Bill ..Bill Bailey? He does the lot. Banjo, lute, thermin, xylophone, didgeridoo.. an absolutlely supremely talented human being.
