In a recent interview with VladTV, comedian Bill Bellamy shared vivid memories of his interactions with the legendary Tupac Shakur. Bellamy detailed receiving a personal letter from 2Pac while the rapper was incarcerated at Rikers Island. Despite the digital age we live in now, Bellamy reminisced about the hundreds of handwritten letters he received at MTV, one of which stood out- a touching letter from 2Pac. The letter, written on yellow-lined paper, expressed 2Pac’s gratitude and included his prison number. He invited Bellamy to be part of his "Temptations" music video, which featured an ensemble of stars including Jada Pinkett, Ice-T, and Salt-N-Pepa. Bellamy also recalled an encounter where he hugged 2Pac, who was wearing a bulletproof vest, a poignant moment signifying the danger 2Pac was constantly under even before the infamous Quad Studios shooting. These anecdotes highlight the profound impact and the complicated life of the rap icon.

Every letter I received from 2pac , I kept. 3 separate note books of 2pac I have , old clothes he left at my place when I lived in Berkeley I kept, old voice-mails, recorded conversations, and pictures. I kept everything as I knew how important it was, and I also didn't trust those around him as, I always felt at some point that information maybe of value. Unlike others I didn't put stuff up for auction, post anything on social media, or attempt a private sale. Everything is literally archived in a few black totes in my bedroom closet. It's not odd for me to keep stuff, I still have the outfit and blanket I brought my 33 year old son home in. Something are truly priceless.
