The more you dig up into Pac's life and the more you realize how real he was. His level of realness was crazy, he even remained faithful to his lyrics when he said those last words to that cop while he was dying and losing lots of blood.
@@chicagowest23Yeah those are the lyrics I was refering to. Just crazy when you think about it. He didn't only claim to be the realest, he really was and still is.
Yes. He was the absolute quintessential definition of real. Every flaw, every contradiction...he never tried to hide who he was in his worst and his best. That man was truly something we will never see again in our lifetime.
Respect for Irv Gotti for saying what Majority of the people in the world already know, 2 Pac is the Greatest rapper of all Time & he's in a league of his own.
A New Yorker claiming Westside on your forth album because a dude from the west coast bailed him out. 😂😂😂😂 1.4 million dollars is what it cost for Tupac to sell out 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Bro pac was on top of the world. No other rapper is more known more than him. We still talking about him decades after he died. Not many talk about big. He’s the undeniable goat 🐐
These days a lot of people talk about and BIG, I feel like the movie impacted a lot of young people a lot of people even say BIG is their favorite just to stand out. Though I love both Pac's Discog can't be F'ed with he the best with Nas as a close 2.
2pac is the greatest to ever do it because of his variety of songs which could touch everyone from thugs, ladies, elders, fiends, pimps, hustler, presidents, dictators, rastafarians, Muslims, Christians, Hebrews, Atheist, Scientist and Scientologist, Athletes, regular working ppl, and probably animals too. He's the best and it's not even close.
"Facts, I grew up Christian. His lyrics always resonated deeply with me, BIGGEST RAPPER EVER, DOPEST rapper ever, RELEST NINJA OF HIS TIME. I still listen at some of his cuts and play his instrumentals daily MOST days. I'm a 2pac fanatic. I recently got back into Christianity and his lyrics hit even harder to my adult mind now!!!!" Go thug life go thuglife go!"
We are still talking about a man that died 27 years ago, had 5 or 6 years rap career like he had 50 years career. Pac has definitely impact Hip Hop in a very short time.
New York ain't gonna like Irv for this one lol but he's telling the truth, 2 Pac is number 1 & Pac was Loyal af to whoever he called his friend or whoever he was down with.. R.I.P to the G.O.A.T 2 Pac
@@ultramag0343 you find comments like this just to hate Yes, it's okay 👌🏽 too be bias, but every time you have to hate you 35 or over..that's sad Click on your name, you see all the comments you made hated on and that No 🧢
@@tom-tomkeller357 No hate ! Just telling the truth ! There was nothing special about 2pac. A lot of y'all praise him more than your parents or children ! All you got to do is read the comments.
The fact that you ain’t bumped his first album not just single but the album let yourself know you and your statement is trash just like Tupac rap skills. His talent was in making you feel his music through the wonderful way he switched his voice, not his wordplay or cadence. Pac brought passion but as far as rap skills nah not even top 100
In a nutshell what east coast rappers and hip hop media does not like to hear. A lot of people hate on Tupac because he didn't give a damn about east coast politics. The fans know 2Pac is the greatest of all time but the industry influences the people into thinking that Jay-Z is. What Jay-Z has, you can develop but you cannot develop what 2Pac has. Noreaga even resisted and tried to sway the opinion into another direction but Irv Gotti was not playing politics. He just said what we all feel in our hearts but not everyone likes to say.
It’s not Jay z lol it’s Eminem you’re missing the point. Eminem is considered bigger than jay z lol Eminem is considered more rich than jay z. The media didn’t want a black man to be the top musician. That’s why they had Eminem come out. Eminem makes jay z look like the little leagues. Don’t get me wrong jay z has made timeliness music but Eminem is way more lyrical then jay z which makes him a better rapper to alot of people. The point is in our genre of hip hop they didn’t want pac and big to lead because the power and influence they had. If the media never started the east vs west. None of the Jews would own all these record labels and entertainment agencies. Black people would because the unity our people would of seen from pac and big would of changed the game completely.
Dude knock it off already. Pac was East Coast. He knew eventually he would need to unite east and west so that is what he attempted to do before he was k!lled. Yah grownass men literally infatuated with another man, when he didn't even know yah. 😂😂😂
@@bennyblanco5857 is that not what I was saying Benny imagine pac and big United instead of feeding into the narratives the media was putting out there for the minds of the masses to eat up
Pac is among artists like Michael Jackson like Bob Marley Pac was also the most impressive musician and the best Mc' for me his flow and poetry and the melodie in his verses , the best by farrrrrrr his style and persona bigger then the the rap coulture the closest musician to a prophet in modern times this man had a different soul one of the 10 most interesting and influential people ever on earth
DMX and Pac were rappers who, although wouldn't blow you away with lyricism, they made you feel what they rapped. Both also had a hell of a stage performance
I never understood how anyone black could hate Pac, when he comes from a black panther background who shot two racist hurting another brotha and he went into action when most would of kept going and not help at all. He definitely was on another level
Has nothing to do with hate and it's corny how u really gonna use the race card when it comes to people's dislike for Pac. Pac has done and said alot of bozo shit. Most people would get hands and feet on them and no one would seem to care. But when it comes to Pac y'all make excuses. And stop saying he came from a Panther background when he did not.
@@frankp7270Pac never called himself a gangster, he was a revolutionary that's why at times he acted a certain way, but it was mistaken as being gangster.
You can't compare Tupac to anyone. We know and remember every single one of his songs. His catalogue is unrivalled. People are attempting to do things he did before the age of 25 and people want to compare him to people who would have never even attempted to even say and admit those things if he were alive. There's some memory madness among Americans in particular, you hear people comparing pac to DMX and claiming that Eminem who is a very good rapper is the greatest MC. I'm 38, what drunken nonsense is that. People like Kanye want to emulate his carefree and nonconforming persona but 2pac was a rapper and a philosopher. He was as real as it gets. Some of us have been alive throughout, there is no amount of bullshit that anyone can feed us to convince us of what we know. Irv salute to you for just bringing the truth. This is the most sensible interview you guys have had
"Never thought about it like that, maybe why his lyrics hit so different. The way he rapped sounded like it came straight from the One on the throne in Heaven. Yasss. " Black Jesus
@@DennisCole-ye3er he was way ahead of his time. I believe he rapped about death cause he knew he wasn’t here long. Why would he hurry and make so much to leave here with? Why was he shot so many times?
@@renaldohaywood6506It's not even that, DMX dropped classic albums back to back too. It's just that he had his own thing going and had a unique style. I don't see the Pac influence like I see in Ja Rule, for example
@@cassio2034 yeah that’s your opinion if you think that I can’t argue you that. But I don’t recall DMX having classic albums. Can’t compare the two at all. People like his unique style but you can’t play no DMX from start to finish like PAC albums.
@@judahmourneth3211 All Eyez on Me would wash any DMX album. DMX was one of the most overrated rappers to me. He had some good songs but not this artist that is on a pac, jay-z, biggie, nas and others level musical wise. Makaveli, Me Against the World. PAC had way better music then DMX.
“Follow me tell me if you feel me/ I think n****z is tryin’a kill me/ Picturing pistols, spitting hollow points ‘til they grill me” Most prophetic line ever spit by an MC
The secret to Pac being who he was is that he was genuine in everything he did whether it was for good, bad, or in different. It came from a place that didn’t come for clout nor gimmicks
Jay-Z cannot mess with Tupac at all Tupac was more famous than Jay-Z and times better than Jay-Z Tupac as the ultimate rapper until Saturday at La cut his life short doesn't want him to be famous miss you my guy may you rest in peace Tupac🖤🕯️🙏🏾🎙️🎙️🎙️🎙️🎙️🎙️🎙️🎙️🎙️🎙️
I really wished Tupac would have survived and lived through the post 9/11 era and the Obama presidency. Would have produced some of the best written songs ever created.
If 2Pac lived the whole rap game would have been on another level. Just imagine how the late 90’s & early 2000’s would have been. I believe it would’ve been a Bad Boy vs Death Row era.
This man was a leader to the black community and he could've been so much more. An artist, an actor and civil right leader and maybe even run for office. Only if he lived as much he did, only if he did.
Yo if pac would’ve lived imagined how big he would’ve been in the 2000s every 90s rapper got even bigger in the 2000s his swag was starting to look like the 2000s he was sporting hella throwback jerseys the duke and the Football 🏈 he would’ve been big like jay n nem facts same wit biggie I’m mad they passed him in 50 cent definitely would’ve did songs cause his mutual love for E money bags pac n 50 had the same opps also jimmy plus more wit his queens connection
I think the most significant rappers who took gangster rap to the next level were NWA…they put Compton and LA culture on the map before them no one on that level exposed the street and gangster culture like they did. It was a new thing. But there was also a lot of consciousness in their music. Tupac…he laid the whole blueprint on how to make the music appealing and sell. Pretty much all gangster Rappers follow this same blueprint to this day. But Pac had way more substance than most so called gangster rappers. Many don’t even consider pac a gangster rapper but he laid the blueprint Nipsey Hussle…he was the first gangland rapper with a large gang behind him …he started the gang gang culture ..,now everyone is affiliated with something and it’s being promoted out loud. Before we didn’t know if a lot of rappers were in a gang or who they were affiliated with. King Von…the first serial killer in rap. Before the Chicago drill scene most rappers only talked about hypothetically killing someone or what someone else did. King Von wasn’t the first rapper from Chicago or even in hip hop history with murders…but he was the most prominent. Now ever so called gangster rapper has to have a body
Last week sunday My 16 years old son who was born in 2007 saw me wearing a Bandana and he straight called me TUPAC. I was like: you know TUPAC? And he just laughed. Damn, that's my favourite rapper still!
There are a select few people in history that left this world before they could really change the world. He’s one of those losses. The Earth lost when he was killed.
Irv should of made this sxxt known YEARS AGO!!! Instead of letting Ja Rule, destroy his own career. I remember when that lil mf was wasted off x and said live on the radio "Pac is back" like he's the new Pac 🤦🏻. Anyway, that being said. You will NEVER see another Pac again, just like u will never see another Jordan, Ali and the small list goes on.
TF YOU TALKING ABOUT EVERYONE KNEW THIS LOL WHICH IS WHY THRY SAMPLED SO MANY TEARS FOR THE PLEDGE AND DID SO MUCH PAIN. YOU EITHER YOUNG OR WASNT THERE
Tupac the goat 🐐 Shakur 🍼 baby. All day everyday. Tupac will be the goat 🐐 today Tupac will be the goat 🐐 tomorrow and Tupac will be the goat 🐐 forever. Hasta Lavista 🍼 baby.
2 pac recorded like 700 songs in such a short time! Its crazy, even his less populair songs have like millions views on RU-vid, if you count all the views of his work its ridiculous, not 1 other rapper has that, some have billions of views for some songs they did not for all their work, and pac died in 96! Can you imagine if he was still alive how many songs he would have recorded its just crazy the Goat for me no doubt about that
I disagree when people say B.I.G was lyrically nicer than Pac. I love them both, but lyrically B.I.G wasn’t touching Pac. Both were in their own lanes, but Pac spoke on a broader spectrum.
I cant lie growing up in miami we had like a clique we like tupac so much everybody in the gang had a outlaw tattoo and we name ourselves CLB Outlaws lol we use to go around fighting other kids from different blocks that was so dumb
