Faye Valentine Yea he's said that exact same thing. He's glad he doesn't have a show because there's nothing they can take away from him if they get mad at him
Smith-because of your comment on the thank you to Allen for his intros, I dared to comment on your comment! Thank you, your comment gave us all strength to comment!
I would love it. I would love it. I would really like to watch it. It would be like taking 12 months of entertainment dose through a single award show.
Jeremy Ostinelli Haven't we been there done that already? Bill Burr would be the best host ever if they allow him to speak his mind..His commentary alone on simple RU-vid videos are absolutely hilarious..JMO.. Ricky is a funny bastard too though..lol
You can't-a have-a de Mango! It sad that their pretend marriage didn't work out~!! All them real and adopted kids are going to have to go their separate ways..
She held it together for 90% of her speech that was actually short and peppered with jokes about Donald Trump and the election and shit, its not like she was crying the whole time. It was only in the last 10 seconds that she sort of broke down. I saw at least a dozen other people get way more emotional just because they won than she did thanking her dead dad lol.
Dare to Zlatan I know, I was just surprised to find that at the end of this video. I hope it wasn't meant to mock her, but why else would he put it there? Hopefully I'm just misinterpreting the edit.
Not really Actors in Rome were treated as the lowest of the low just as they glorified small dicks and thought people with bigger ones were a bunch of primal savages. funny how society changes
You're exactly right. America is modern day Roman Empire. Before we get led to the slaughter. Distract the people with bread and circus. While we set the stage for the mass genocide.
Not surprising at all. People are waking up to the bullshit that Hollywood and the mainstream media are. It's because of the Internet and it's a great thing. And if we're already this far after only about 15 years of the Internet being popular, imagine how things will be in 50.
I think it was to show that there's some normal people in Hollywood who aren't self-absorbed enough to think they've "changed the world" by wearing a wig and reflecting light for a few hours a day. She said the only opinion that mattered was her father's, which is basically a real nice way to say "I couldn't give less of a shit that you gave this thing to me."
Omar El Kaddouri it means a lot to know your dad like you. A lot of people aren’t as fortunate and no matter how much they look up to them they’ll never get recognition
The irony of Bill mentioning the fake gun that goes off to kill someone/yourself is priceless considering the Alec Baldwin situation. Bill is ahead of his time.
That's dedication. No way I could watch one of those and still be alive at the end. I would give in to the over-whelming urge to kill myself before I hit the 5 minute mark.
Inside the actors studio, that guy is actually really cool and funny at times, he jokes about his seriousness and pokes fun at himself. James Lipton was a great interviewer
agree. ever since he became a dad the podcast started to go downhill. But I'm happy for him. He deserves to be happy because he's a good man with a good heart. Because Nia believed in him, he dared to try.
Weird move to mock JLD, who is one of the funniest people ever and never takes herself too seriously, at the end because her father died 2 days earlier...
Aw, come on, that Julia Louis-Dreyfus shit at the end was unnecessary. She lost her dad a few days ago! She had every right in the world to get teary. And please note that Bill didn't find it necessary to make fun of her. Why don't you go with his judgement?
If you've ever lost a parent you know that no amount of money can heal that wound. That's the fucker that spawned you, that chose NOT to abort you. One half of the most important influence in your life.
I don't think it was making fun of her. I feel like it was showcasing how she was the only person who should have been a mess accepting some stupid award, although clearly she wasn't.
Fucking love Billy Burr. I couldn't agree more, it's also why at least once a year I watch Ricky Gervais' highlights of him hosting the Golden Globes. I love how he doesn't take it seriously and shits all over those that do. Warms my heart.
I really hate how all these movies that are biopics or have LGBTQ characters in them are hailed as movies that "create thought" and are even nominated as the best movies of the year. Not because they're not important but because these people are completely ignoring the powers of film making. "Creating thought" is outlined by using the tools of film making to make a genuine piece of media that challenges your thinking or informs you of other aspects of life. Simply basing it on a true story and thinking that you don't need to work hard on most of the other aspects of film making is insulting to the medium and lazy. So many of these movies are the same and are checklists for the events that take place in the characters lives much like a instructions in a school essay. How about making an art house movie about one? Or a noir-like reimagining of a person's life? Moonlight did this best by using great colours, directing, acting, use of powerful music etc... It's not really a biopic but biopics can be as good or even greater than this. Same goes for representing LGBTQ characters and other people of different races.
Half Baked is such a cash-grab pile of shit that the stars and writers of the movie even hate it. Chappelle is on record saying the original script he co-wrote (w/ Chappelle Show Collaborator Neal Brennan, who is also on record to hating it) was basically dumbed down/ruined by the studio & turned into a weed movie for kids. Damn shame they ruined what could've been a classic.
If you're talking about his interview from Inside the Actors Studio, Chappelle didn't say that he hated _Half Baked_. You're exaggerating. He said, "Half Baked didn't come out the way I wanted it to come out. I was real upset about that, cause it was a real cool script. And then I saw it, I was like, "Hey, man, you made a weed movie for kids" and it wasn't for kids, the script, you know? It was all these things and so much pressure." _Half Baked_ is a *HUGE* cult classic, so I don't know what you're talking about. There are tons of people who love that movie. It did far better after it was out of the theaters, so it hardly qualifies as a "cash-grab." That and his HBO special, _Killin' Them Softly_ are basically what opened the door for him to do Chappelle's Show
Yeah, I remember when Elizabeth Holmes talked about changing the world. Now she’s looking at spending a little time in the big house where she can change that world.
I see the first and second chick and ask who the fuck is that, yet I know the Kardashians and never watched a moment of anything they put out. That's how you know if you have the right publicist.
It sounds insane to me that Actors claim to be story tellers, they didn't write the dialogue coming out of their mouth. Even children understand a sock puppet isn't the one giving the story.
It was all funny, but why did you include Julie Louis-Dreyfuss' tearful thank you to her father who had passed two days prior? Her hands are shaking and it seems incredibly genuine. You could've picked someone being melodramatic or something.
ugh the fucking "we changed the world it turns out" line made me sick its just the epitome of self agrandising/rightous thinking and its so fucking fake at the same time it makes me genuinely angry
