chris he’s really not bad with almost every other comedian guest. Just wasnt a good matchup that go around. Him with theo von or Tom segura/christina P, Bobby lee & khalyla... does surprisingly well. He was obv uncomfortable as fuck that first time with burr
Aldo Raine he absolutely owned Rogan with the little rascals hat comment on the election podcast. He’s nicer to Rogan because they’ve known each other for years through stand up, and rogan generally asks funny/sensible questions. It isn’t some weird alpha thing. South side Steve looks like he could handle himself, and burr still destroyed him.
I noticed watching Bill off and on throughout the years rather it be his stand-up or an any kind of interview...when the camera is rolling that means he is working..this is why he is a legendary veteran. He never misses a beat. And if you don't have thick skin, then he will steamroll your feelings with no remorse.

Bill Burr told Ethan no and Ethan couldn't handle it. You RESPECT your guests as a host, you don't try to milk them dry of any and all info no matter what. It's an interview, not an interrogation.
