I used to work on a chemical plant as a hydraulic and mechanical engineer. They made polyacrylamide, which is a powder that is added to water that removes any of the impurities from the water, it's used in sewage systems all over the world. But, once the powder is in contact with even a tiny bit of moisture it instantly turns into the most slippery goo known to man! So, when I had to go into the citric acid tanks fully hazmat suited up, with breathing apparatus on at 40°C+ inside a giant metal container that only got hotter with added humans, and the moment you open the door and air gets in everything that can, turns into the ultra slippery goo and you're looking for something that's malfunctioning to fix but you can't see because of the powder, you can't breathe (even with the apparatus on) because of the citric acid particles and you can't walk because of the goo... Once you find the pipework that needed fixing, by this time you already want to be back outside, the nuts and bolts have accumulated the goo, so you can't even release the nuts without your hands slipping off and punching a steel object opposite! Plus you have to do the job as fast as possible because it costs the company £100,000 every 30 minutes the line in down.. The pressure, the heat, the lack of oxygen, the slipperiness... I would much rather be at home with the kids than in those giant death containers any day! Bill Burr is 100% right! Hahaha

*_As someone who worked in construction for 14 years, 6 day's a week & 10 hours a day until Christmas day 2010 - From then on, a full time father, part - time construction worker. I was allowed work while the kids were at school & my boss allowed me to raise my 3 kids so i have done both. Each ar hard in different way's. Moms & dads raise the child but mom dont help you on the site in her spare time. I'd swap the mental part of parenthood, the worrying for any job on the planet but my kids wouldnt enter that bubble for me to lock them in. Men are built to feed & protect the family, mother gives birth, an absolute miracle that women ought to be in awe of. But men & women hurt the same when we see our kids hurting. But hell, the hardest job is only going to be done by men, biological men. No hormone pill will give you the temperament of a man, the spirit a man has - Hell - God made us a certain way not so we can feel better but so we can do what needs to be done in this physical world & He gave us a certain type of spirit to direct that certain physical type & prepare us for spiritual life. Dont mess with that..I seem to remember a story of society trying to do things their own way & guess what, that didnt go well either. Dont mess with nature & we'l be just fine_*

Being a mother or a father is a job held by the majority of us. You may die on Deadliest Catch or Ice Road Truckers or whatever, but thinking about your child passing away because of your failures is a much scarier thought. Being a parent Is the toughest job that any of us face because someone else's life is in our hands. I have no problem risking my own life, but I'm terrified of ruining my kids life or not being able to protect them. Damn that Bill Burr is funny though!
Pits get such a bad rep it hurts. Been around and owned dogs all 26 years of my life. Dachshund's, full size and mini, Chow, Shar Pei, and have 2 pit sisters now. All dogs are different, but I've never seen another dog behave EXACTLY like a human child before. Everyone owes themselves the experience imo 😂

I raised both my kids solo, I’ve worked in the prison system, I’ve worked construction, roofing in the winter, the difference is at the end of the day you get to clock out and go home. A full time parent gets no rest, especially when you have no family to help like in my situation. I would rather pull a 12 hour shift at the old prison then deal with them kids 24/7/365 😂 i love them no doubt, but is it the hardest? Idk but from my experience at least most jobs got that paid time off sick leave bonuses n shit. Being a parent is a thankless job and if you fail the kid’s die or you go to jail 😂 that’s your thanks. My dad was EOD in the army for 22 years 3 tours in Vietnam and Desert Storm and Desert Shield and then did 5 years in Iraq as part of the NSA. Think the guy in The Hurt Locker disarming IEDs. He has been retired now for 9 years and can't sleep more than 4 hours a night from PTSD. Ask my mom which job is harder as she tires to calm him down after he wakes up screaming about the time half his men were blown up in Vietnam from a guy making a mistake moving a bomb.

It's not the hardest job in the world. But it isn't always easy. 1. You don't get paid, unless you get state aid or child support (if you're single). 2. Your hours are 24/7/365 for up to 18 years. 3. No sick leave. 4. You're jobs are basically child care, maid, bookkeeper, cook, personal assistant, chauffeur, teacher, conflict resolution specialist (if you're not permissive) and on-call nurse.
