I totally get it. Listening to those two is seriously one of my favorite things. "Where has this been all my life!" I completely agree. It allowed me to see what kind of man he really is, and even though I already loved his stand-up, knowing that he really isn't as dickish as he comes off on stage made me like it even more.

They can be edited but bill keeps it real. Over the years, he doesn't edit anything, from experiences of course. Haven't caught a vid for a week or two but killin in with things j didn't pick up on listening too in the first place. Love famous comedians however use this as background noise as I work. The pilgrims didn't come on the Santa Maria etc though. That was Columbus. But yeah, I heard this before with the 400 years. There were even slaves brought to the American continent including what is now the USA before it existed as a country.

As an outsider I think the USA is a great country in many regards, not so much in many others, definitely not "the greatest country on earth" like many Americans love to claim. Also, as Nia pointed out, let's not forget it was built over genocide, slavery and unimaginable suffering, the stigmas of this past are very well alive today.

And that’s America the country we now know it has however slavery started before that with the Spanish in the America’s. Gaspar yanga was fighting the Spanish in Mexico in 1609. He didn’t get here with frequent flyer miles... it was slavery. Ppl always confuse America’s with America because we are the only country named after the continent we are on. Think about it there is no country in Africa called Africa, or a country called China in China, or a country called Europe in Europe. But there is a country called America in America. That’s by design. To a slave they don’t care about what country they are in all they know is that they were kidnapped and are now slaves. So technically it doesn’t matter when the USA started slavery, it was already happening in the Bahamas. You know Dominicans, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Haiti etc.

Sweden has a good image because they're good at denying their problems. However it's also the country with the worst rate in Europe of having foreign-origin people in leadership positions in their businesses, relative to non-indigenous population. And they have poverty too, it's just their equivalent of the projects they brag about how great and progressive the country is for building them instead of looking at what's actually wrong with them. Pretending everything is fine also is part of the reason Sweden did such a bad job with COVID.
