After watching Bill Burr's Netflix specials and his "F is for family" cartoon he has risen up on rank on my list favorite comedians cant wait for his next Netflix special

I find this interesting because my family will hurt someone if they ever lay hands on a woman, even if it's their own family member. But I will say Bill did have some points when it came to the women. My dad always said it isn't right to provoke a man just to get under his skin so you could win the argument. You don't know what he will do when he is angry or when he finally snaps.

The point Bill is trying to make, which I don't think he actually says, is that when 2 people are fighting with WORDS there is an invisible line, where if you cross the line there is risk for it to escalate to a physical fight. So if a guy says some mean shit to anyone, male/female, he voluntarily crosses this line, knowing this rule instincitvely, since we're animals, and as animals we usually avoid physical fights if not needed. Then the "never hit a woman" rule was invented, which was critical since women shouldn't fear getting over-powered by men. However, this rule allows for women to completely bypass the "crossing the line" rule, which destroys the rules of fighting. There's no risk for getting hit and women knows this, which is why you can see videos of women screaming in guys faces with no concern for blocking a potential punch to the face. They are simply not concerned about it, since it can't happen. What Bill means (I think) is that women basically SHOULD follow the rules, out of respect to the guy, but they should ALSO know that even if they cross the line, guys should never hit them for it. So the rules are still: 1. Never hit a woman 2. Dont cross the line 3. If you do, prepare to get punched 4. If you are a woman, ignore #3 However women should reeeeeeally follow rule #2... like, that's the ENTIRE point of this whole drawn-out argument. Follow rule #2 and pls don't abuse rule #1.
