Perfect example of how crazy women argue. My Ex was badgering me about something she said I was wrong over. Not wanting to fight I said “You’re right and I’m wrong” I figured that would ended it. NOPE. She said “What are you saying. I’m always right?” Can’t win. Thank goodness I’m out of that. She did say “You will NEVER find anyone who treats you as good as in do” she was right. I found plenty more that treated me better.

My wife and I have been together for 25 years. We’ve learned that when we get angry we can walk away from the argument. After we’ve had time to reflect, it usually wasn’t worth arguing in the first place.

It's not Bill's former girlfriend he's talking about. She is his current wife. And the story is true. She beat him because she hadn't been taught otherwise. Bill then said to her at some point, if she does it again, it's over and he's leaving. She never did it again and got married.

One of the best and open minded group of women on here. Great reaction. Growing up we were told words can hurt just as much. The mental and emotional abuse and manipulation that men go through isn't brought up enough. There are bad people....Men and women, we just don't have the bruises and scars to show it. Some of us grow up with mothers that way, then get treated like that in relationships. It can be very defeating. I've learned to just take every experience as a new opportunity, and to not put my bad experiences on them. To fully trust and believe them until given a reason otherwise.

I consider myself a survivor , lived with a woman I loved but was afraid of as I had to agree with what she said, because I also had to sleep next to this monster, in hindsight I should have never let it get that far, but if I'd fought back, me being twice her size wouldn't look good.

I remember a comment where the woman who screams out "EVERYDAY" after Bill asks how often women think about slapping their guy in the head responded. She said she had half whispered it to her husband half jokingly who laughed and whispered back "Tell Bill" and so she then yelled it out loud.

That Rihanna example was actually real. The story was she was jealous of his past relationships with the women around him and was extremely emotional starting physical altercations..... Rihanna and Chris admitted to being physical with each other... She was attacking him in the Lamborghini while he was driving before he hit her.... Chris was just the sacrifice of that whole debacle.

I love how the people who "should" be offended, like these 3 women, never are. They understood his reasoning. The genius of Bill Burr is that he can take a volatile subject and make it funny while using logic that is hard to deny. It seems many comedians are the most sensible public people around these days and, for me, Bill is at the top.

I knew about how women fight and argue like almost 30ish years ago. I'm the youngest of 4, 3 older sisters, and I'm the only male child of my parents.

It feels like the world has lost the ability to place words/situations in context. It's really refreshing to see a group of women laughing to jokes about domestic abuse. Being able to place a horrific concept inside the framework of a joke. Then understanding a joke about something is not the same thing as doing said thing. Its not even condoning it. Its the importance of context and you ladies nailed it

Men are way way way way more hesitant to make these kinds of issues a police case, compared to women. Generally speaking, u don't wanna go around telling people u constantly get beaten by your wife. We can gain some insight here from same-sex couples. Lesbians divorce at TWICE the rate of gay men. Let that sink in. You might've thought that men, with their promiscuous instincts, would be divorcing more, but no. Clearly those guys are enjoying a level of rational peace and calm that their female counterparts are not. End of lesson.

His strategy isnt just for relationships. It's usually wise advice in legal battles too (criminal and civil). If they have a case they will usually argue the points. If they don't have a case, they attack you personally.

The problem is that female dv against men is ignored and tolerated. Moreover laws are biased. Still no need to get violent. Just go your own way and protect yourselves against false allegations!

The stereotypical view is that men are generally larger and stronger and thus better at physical violence and that women are more socially and emotionally savvy and thus better at words. People can and do get scarred for life and their lives ruined without ever having been physically touched and only physical violence leaves readily visible injuries. I can practically guarantee there is no statistics on that stuff, but it would be interesting to know a) how physical and psychological violence compare and b) what percentage of the physical attacks were actually about fighting back against psychological violence with something they feel they can have an effect with. I'm sure the standard response to anyone is to respond in kind, but telling that to a tongue-tied person trying to fend off someone, who knows what they're doing, is like telling someone lying down in a fetal position to fight back the person kicking them in the stomach, head and ribs. That said, I'm not interested in excusing anything. I would just like to know.

The truth is funny

I like the "Let me process" approach. If my wife is mad and doesn't wanna talk about it, I just walk away. No reason to egg her on, she'll talk to me when she's ready. She extends me the same courtesy. It works out pretty well.

Here's the truth. If men and women were equal physically then the dynamic would be completely different. If two men get into an argument and it turns physical, they fight and it's usually done with. They don't keep berated each other for years on end or keep with the passive agressive behavior until the one of them is laid to rest. There is usually some degree of respect in the fight because either one of them knows he might get his ass kicked. Women will keep on provoking a guy until he wants to sit in the garage with the car running.

The woman who yelled out wasn’t planted. In fact, Bill was positive the exchange he had with her was going to be edited out. That’s why he purposely dragged her for a while there. The Director convinced Bill to let him keep it in the final product and we’re all better off for it. This special took place in 2011. The Chris Brown/Rihanna situation happened in late 2008/early 2009.

I've been a full time dad and it's not the hardest job in the world. It's the most important beucase of the task at hand, rearing children for better or worse. Hard, no. Tedious, yes. The less control and OCD you exert.. the more principle and teachings you give them that are true and just let them do their thing (obviously nothing to insane right?) it becomes just a blast. Harder during the winter, easier during the summer.

This is the best thing about humor: you can more or less annalize the personality of the comedian and also the crowd. This 3 wonderful women are a nice example.
