Bill was 100% right tho, Ant forfeited the argument. When you turn it personal and abandon logic, you've lost. Bill's supposed guilt (that's entirely from Ants opinion) is irrelevant when he's still presenting points for the argument. And he even still concedes to an extent on certain points. But there's no point that Anthony's gonna give an inch, and he even confesses he's an open racist on a regular basis on this program. I fail to see his objectivity in their tarnished relationship.
Because virtually everything depends on sponsor and ad money and they dont want to mess with platforming questionable people on racist, misogynist, or other weird nonsense. Bill sounds exactly like myself when I was young and naive. He must have gone to college because he’s spouting all of the “white supremacy is systemically ingrained in our society” nonsense that’s put into the curriculum.
But it is. This is fact. City planning, infrastructure, economic distribution is all based upon racial discrimination because that was a component of their initial design. The larger one is redlining, redlining is now illegal, but those parts of town are still segregated. Which leads to segregated schools. Etc.

As a non American I feel for Americans. They are FAR more diverse than most other countries when it comes to even representation. If you went to 99% of African countries (for example) you wont see a hell of a lot of ethnic diversity or female representation. But nobody calls them out for reasons

Bill was NOT making good points. His points were about forty years out of date (even more so here in the UK). The only thing holding down a black person from becoming successful in life is the person themselves. As a white working class person who has grown up around working class people i can assure you that nobody hands success or opportunity to you on a plate regardless of what colour your skin is. Also to say that your skin colour holds you back is a very poor and untrue excuse. There will always be a few racists in the world but the days when there were enough to impact a person's life are long gone.
Respectfully, how can you conclusively say that skin color doesn't hold someone back when you yourself are white? The US Civil Rights Movement happened in the 60s. Do you think after laws were changed, that racism just disappeared and black people were treated like everyone else? I'm not saying that life is easy for anyone, regardless of race, but let's not pretend that white people don't have an advantage as they navigate life. I had a boss who would discard applications if the names on them sounded too black. I'm sure she's not the only one. You don't think racism exists within our police force or government that manifests itself in real ways? I'm not a self-hating white or black defender, but I have to be intellectually honest about the way society is. I can concede that if black people want to change the way they are perceived by others, it is on them to do so. No one else is going to do it for them. And I agree that racism towards white people should be taken just as seriously as racism towards black people or other minority groups, but I can't help but notice that conservatives only seem to get mad about racism when it's directed at white people. Why aren't people like Anthony just as outraged when minority groups are discriminated against?
