If boomer esiason hadn’t retired to do TV who knows what they could have done in 98, he had them rolling at the end of 97 and Corey Dillon was fresh. Then he retired and it killed all their momentum and they had 6 more embarrassing seasons before trading a disgruntled Dillon and hiring Marv Lewis to finally turn things around with Carson Palmer and Chad Johnson
Wow! George Pickens Sr had a monster game! 200+ yds receiving & a TD? The irony that George Pickens Jr now plays for the Steelers & looks very talented.
@@ViC.aT.nItE. nope, I love coaches that show emotion. I like Tomlin, he has a winning culture, just needs to get away from being such a ‘players’ coach
Naw, that’s not true. Sometimes teams dominate the game but a few lucky bounces turn the tide against them. That answer is too cliche’ and too little substance.
@@eternal_napalm6442 If by 'retool' you mean that Cowher screwed up by thinking he had the perfect Steelers game manager QB, who stunk at everything a QB is supposed to be able to do, but was great at being a gifted athlete who can run.
Steelers fans these days are perfectly comfortable with 9-8 and a 7th seed now and then. It has been 14 years since the Steelers won the Super Bowl but they love mediocrity
Tomlin's also had more talent to work with yet has as many Super Bowl rings; one. What's his playoff record since losing to Green Bay? 3-6. Those wins came against Matt Moore, Alex Smith and AJ McCarron and one of those games was basically handed to them on a platter at the very end.
@redpillfreedom6692 So now it's about what QB you beat lol? Y'all mfs say the dumbest shit to try and discredit Coach T. I swear I hope once he leaves y'all get stuck with a worse coach and turn into the Lions for about 10 years. Y'all deserve it. Ungrateful mfs..
