In 1987 Bill Hazen bought a 200 acre family farm, complete with cash crop and cow herd. Eleven years later he started to make a change in farming practices. Bill tells the story of transitioning the farm from the use of chemical fertilizer and pesticides to becoming certified organic while maintaining crop yields and increasing profitability.
