This shifter is only temporary While it is still fwd. The D series awd will use cable but for the time being until it’s AWD transmission is installed this will work!
I did the same to my civic and the center consul fit perfectly fine. I think it’s just integras… but it definitely feels good and looks good too… I try following other videos, but none of them said anything about the secondary shift linkage that goes from the tranny to the two 12mm bolts… I came to realize after that I didn’t need it so I ended up taking it off so now I just have the shifter link to the gear link… this video definitely does a good job explaining for those that are installing those shifters for the first time 👍🏼
I believe ur shifter was mounted backwards, I mounted mine facing the opposite way and I was able to use the lockout feature, either way they’re a pretty cool design that copied the full race brand but those were very rare even when they first came out with them it took me 6-8 months to find one. Since then I found this one and the jackspania version and they’ve been pretty good so far. One thing to note is that these work crispier with some race version mounts or full billet solid mounts along with some traction bars and a subframe H brace💪🏼
I love it man! God bless. I'm curious about running without an o2 sensor which it looks like your running. Are you just staying out of boost to get to where you need be?
Thanks and this isn’t the final setup. That exhaust pipe has a o2 sensor bung on the bottom but it will have a different exhaust and we will have a base map tune on it anyways to be safe.
Can u do an update on the shifter like how ita held up after a while I wanna purchase this shifter for my eg hatch but idk if it's worth it or not when I have brand new shifter booshing and a new short throw shifter installed already
You can awd swap a lot or normal fwd setups but they have to have a kit for it to be a bolt in process. Like civics, Rsx. Ef hatch, ek hatch, eg hatch, coupes and sedans and such they make awd kits for them.
