That pretty much makes up my mind on which converter I'm going with. Thank you for the video.

I had my converter guy take my stock converter, and install a Sonnax billet clutch, Sonnax billet stator, and new clutch material with stock 800 RPM stall speed for a 7000 pound 4X4 truck application. My torque converter is overbuilt for the application. My entire early model 4L80E trans is overbuilt for its application because that is the way I roll. Since I build my own transmissions I can take the money I would have spent on labor, and spend it on high quality parts.

Say if you have a 4l80e stock tbi 350 can you use the bigger Lock up Clutch? On my 1995 C2500 The lock up comes on in 3rd and 4th after 40 MPH and its like a on and off switch. At 121,000 miles you could feel it lock up hit like a fifth gear but at 177,000 miles lock up feels soft now. Not sure if I have a line pressure issue or the clearance on the TQ converter clutch is worn. Other option is to rebuild my 80e with the bigger lock up clutch. Kinda of curious what you would do in this situation.
