Thank you for this. You hit on a couple of points that really attract me to Billie's music. First, her incredible intonation on even the most fragile of notes can be just heart-wrenching, and it also strengthens her incredible story-telling ability. In live, bare-bones performances like this one, the way she fully inhabits the songs she is singing comes across most strongly. Nothing is much better than Billie, Finneas, and a guitar (or piano).
Billie's interpretation of this song, shows her vulnerability. She is amazing. Mitch Grassi, of Pentatonix, covers this song as well, and you may want to check it out!
I just want to say thank you. I always feel perfectly safe coming into your videos, knowing that you’re going to break down the technique in a very thorough, detailed, but easy to understand way. You’re one of the five best on RU-vid.
YOU ARE JUST SO LOVELY!!!! Thank you so much for such a wonderful comment, I really appreciate it! Wow!!! That really just made my evening now thank you 🤗🤗🤗🤗
Love your reaction and breakdown and your genuine love of the performance. You truly LISTEN and hear all the beautiful nuance and emotive power of her singing coupled with Finneas's awesome backing! ❤️
Thanks for this reaction! Since I discovered Billie 2 years ago, I've been amazed by her voice, I think she's a great vocalist. I just love to hear her sing, especially in an acoustic set like this. So I really appreciate it, when a pro like you confirms that she's actually a good and well-trained singer. ☺️ Btw, I love Aotearoa, travelling there was one of my best vacations ever! 💛
Hi @taban was that a joke or an honest question? I have absolutely no idea, I think the thing was installed shortly after the 2nd ww and came with the house ;)
