He said: "Hello, this is Andre from event management. Before we continue please pay attention for a short announcement. We know, you'd like to have some fun. But some people got hurt in the first rows. So please stop crowd surfing."
Chloe Parker and too be fair, kurt actually did have bad posture. This caused him severe back problems from holding the guitar the way he did. His spine was pretty messed up.
You're so right! It totally does seem like a scene from a 'teen movie', like American Pie or Grind lol. You know, that typical late '90s/early '00s 'slacker' storyline about chugging beers and smoking weed at frat parties (the college life, basically lol).
Saw them last year, he sound live even better then on the albums. And they made hell of a show. You can tell they have fun of it, its not just work for them
There's a great video where they turn the power off att a jimi hendrix concert because his time is up. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-C5n2BBEjz9M.html
The translation of what the German guy said would go like this: Alright guys, this is fun and all but let’s be a little serious now. This concert is sponsored by Raid Shadow Legends. Raid Shadow Legends is an amazing mobile game where... Billie: *SHUT THE FUCK UP*
The way he: Gets the crowd engaged Immediately finds a song in his setlist that reates to the situation Proceeds with executing an epic punchline And then the band continues seamlessly timing on point... Clockwork combination for a legendary moment.
I don’t really remember exactly which one, because it I posted a few Green Day videos about a year ago. Go check some of those videos out and tell me what you think! Thanks for watching!!
@@soundwavs1961c Exactly, but he hasn't, so he doesn't see a need to. Dude could care less about how his teeth look, and they're his teeth. So why do you care?
@@leenagil I was at this show, one dude literally fell and banged his knee and a girl fell over top of him.. This had nothing to do with safety issues... There is crowd surfing at EVERY Green Day concert. Just because 2 people got minor injuries crowd surfing doesnt mean you should destroy the fun for every one else. People know moshpits and crow surfing have risk of injury and they choose this... THe venue didnt care about these people, they only cared about getting sued. And Billie Joe cares if its an actual saftey issue. Crowd Surfing is normal and is indulged in willfully by all adults at these concerts. So sick of the snowflakes man.
@@whoisharo4689 like riding on a cloud. It is a great connection with your peers because you put your trust in them not to drop you. Almost can't put it into words.
Translation: Hello this is André from the event management. Before the show moves on, please give me the opportunity for a short announcement: I know you all want to have fun, but there are already people who got hurt in the front. This is why we would like to ask you to stop crowdsurfing. Thank you. I know Billie likes to be Punk and didn't understand the situation and all, but we are usually a little more down to earth and respectful when it comes to people getting hurt in Germany. And yes, perhaps André should have spoken in English first .
Yeah well you're onstage doing your thibg and a foreign language voice comes along and says something you cant understand... While you're facing the crowd
@@julianvasquez9015 it's their country. you don't act like that just because you don't understand THEIR MOTHER TONGUE IN THEIR OWN COUNTRY IN THEIR OWN EVENT.
I love how he just puts a wad a black tape to hold up his strap, since SG guitar type bodies have the strap hold behind where the fingerboard and bodies meet and are very top heavy
The announcer just doing his job, but it's just in bad timing. Maybe he thinks that the song is over. Billie's face just like "wtf is that, the song is not finish yet" 😆
@@tunmoninathsaikia9732 That's what everyone keeps saying, but I don't see how it's relevant. People getting injured at a public event seems like a valid concern to at least a few parties here, even if it isn't the 'punk' band or some of it's fanbase. Also, note the guards all around the stage. How punk, right? To be protected by guards while singing? lol
@@Excalion88 right lol it makes no sense to compare "a punk show" (think smallish venue) with something like this, where the risk of someone getting seriously injured in 20x greater just because there are 20x more people. add to that the risk of people up front getting crushed - much less likely in when there are only a few hundred people in a room
@@tunmoninathsaikia9732 dude ... you don't want to mess with our german authorties and general public if several guests got injured on your event. The announcer just tried to save his ass and reputition to host more events.
The funniest thing is that i watched this whole show when i was a kid and this never struck me as weird or anything. Even now, this is just part of the "Bizarre" concert.
😂 could you imagine if the german guy was saying something really kind like "this is the best band known to man" and billie tells them to shut up 3 years later and i want more likes
This was german. I'm from Germany so I'm doing my best to tell you what he said. The guy said (translated into english) : A Short announcement: We know that you just wanna have some fun but we've got some injured people so if you could stop please- and then Billie drowned out the voice
Dat Rock Fan A well... that's typical for germany😅 Everything is in german and as a Tourist there you have probably no chance. Why? Because we fucking love our language😅❤ But yes, they could've made two announcements or sth else!
😂 the military equivalent of that would be a new boot bitch asking the platoon Sergeant what time is field day and everyone looks at him like …… 🤯🤦♂️ “why the fuck did you remind him”
Why tf would someone dislike this glorious Green Day glory? Also, you know you've watched this video too many damn times when someone plays Waiting and you feel the need to yell "SHUT THE FUCK UP" during thr pause.
Fangirl_Queen_160 the Dislikes probably are by the people who actually understand what the voice said. It was the event manager speaking and he said the audience should be more careful because there have been bad injuries. Had to be real bad injuries so that it was urgent, otherwise nobody would've said anything. Now it's kind of inappropriate behavior of Billie Joe. But well, he didn't understand.
He only did that maybe because he didn't understand the language, the management was using. He was interrupted. Both of them are wrong, Billie for being savage and disrespectful; and the management for talking when Billie was still undone performing his song. No hate, just saying.
He should have addressed the band in english first that they were making an announcement. Without Green Day knowing what was going on they interrupted the announcement and played over it where people may not have been able to hear it all and may have chosen to continue causing an issue without regard for other peoples safety. The announcer was kind enough to wait until they stopped playing but he didnt know the song wasnt over.
I listen mostly to what can be called "technically gifted" guitar players, but Billy Joel fucking rocks those power chords, there's something very cool to his guitar playing, even the most metal of you have to admit it
in total from him telling someone (at a different concert) to stop bullying kids, and the dropkick, and now THIS. he total savage level is uncountable. That's how savage.
Imagine being this juvenile. The same people saying "this is a punk show, people are gonna get hurt" would be the first ones to cry if someone pushed them over and broke their sunglasses. Plus, this isnt a Punk rock show, it's a stadium rock festival. Oh well, not surprising to see this kind of "I'm more important than anyone else" attitude from a guy who once collaborated with Bono
billie was only pissed and told the announcer to shut the fuck up because he was disrespectful and interrupted mid song lol but yea he totally thinks hes better then everyone
