I am so happy to see you keeping a good spirit. We all know your wife would want you to be happy. The ship is close to being finished and what a good looking ship. The gold reliefs will really set it off. God Bless Frankie!!!
Imagining doing the rigging is already giving me a headache. Just the change in being able to hobby in the living room must be epic in your mind. You got way more display space. You probably had to enjoy your cigars down in the man cave also. Life goes on. You must have no problem rigging because you have many ships going. That is of massive size. I have Metv going as I watch this. My living room is loaded with shelves & models. Good luck & I wish you well with the changes.
Time heals all wounds , Frankie. Ruthie's always in your heart , buddy. She's never gone. Good to see you keeping on. Looking forward to seeing what's in store. Peace my friend.✌
Hello Frankie, let me first congratulate you, wonderful job you're doing on the Norsk Loeve - respect !!!! Actually I am building the exact same kit. Bought it way back in the seventies and now that I'm retired have finally the time to finish it (at least try to ...). I have the hull already finished and have to start painting and further detailing now. But I have a question: can you please tell me/us how to saw out all the delicate items out of the wooden panels ? Experimenting is not an option because I'm afraid to screw up something. Did you use a manual "jig saw" (and a lot of patience) or did you use a motorized one ? What is the best way to do it ? Looking forward to your next videos on the rigging and sails. Kind regards & all the best Koeken Eric - Belgium
