Video 3 for Mr. Dave Mathers dedication build of the billing boats kit of the Norske love Thus far in the construction all decks gave been planked and given one coat of polyurethane. Deck beams have been installed mast steps and butt plates have been installed. The remainder are the cutting out of the side shears and gun ports they next will be installed on the next video this video is in two parts

Way to go. The deck looks pretty good. I feel for you cutting all that stuff by hank. I'm spoiled with a full shop; band saw, scroll saw, 1" belt sander, etc. I never considered taking the time to get into video but I did take a dew pictures of some builds and I am trying to figure out Ffikr and when I do I will pass on the access to my albums. I was starting a USF Constitution build and a friend found a set of plans for the San Feiipe in 1/72 scale and I flipped. I have wanted to build a model of her for years. I took the plans, had copies made and so far have cut out the hull keel piece and all bulkheads and some other pieces and I am on my way. I will start an album for the model as I progress.

Ahoy Dear Friend Thanks for tuning in I am happy that you like the deck work it was tedious to say the least everything in this kit is cut out by hand along with a straight edge rule. I have a small lathe a scroll saw and a dremel tool also a mighty mite. but other tools I don't have only wished I had it would make my job easier. I am listening to you I know your a pro and I take heed and advice from a pro the only way to go to build a accurate model ship of any era. The Norske love will be a slow build so I will be taking my time on her no rush for certain I am constructing the side shears or skin to the hull a slow process as designed in the kit it is the main fouindation for the planking so it has to be perfect. I bought some sand and sealer today I will be needing that. Thanks again for checking in I am honored I am listening.Frankie Day
