Fascinating and entertaining! I love the way you mingle the history of the city with your personal little stories. Quick note: I heard that 432 Park Ave has also these "holes" in order to bypass the height regulation. Because mechanical floors don't count! By the way, it's hard to really grasp the fact that one person paid $239,958,219 for one appartement. Even in NYC. But what boggles me the most are the $219. It's always odd that they never use a round number. I guess that Ken Griffin would have walk off the deal for $239,958,220.

i’ve been wanting to go to new york for as long as i can remember. probably more than any city in the world. i wanna experience the culture, diversity, the energy, the small businesses, the subway, etc. been meaning to travel this year but that didn’t happen of course. this stupid pandemic intensified my yearning to getaway. you, sarah funk, and actionkid have been my escape during these stressful times. your videos make me feel like a little less stuck and it makes me appreciate the little details of nyc apart from what’s in the movies. lookin forward to the day i get to be there! great video and sick beard as always, tom!!! p.s. monetize your videos!

I was wondering when you would get to the Hearst Tower. The Hearst like other landmarks are combined with modern glass structures. The process is call "Facadism" which preserves the outer building while constructing a new one. Tammany Hall was renovated with a modern glass dome that adds extra floors.
