If you don't/didn't love and admire this guy, you need to dig deep down into your soul. This guy was the best thing to come out of England. Years after the Beatle Invasion I discovered him. He should have been bigger here in the states. RIP Billy.

Billy seemed a very sensitive person,on the interview he seems very frail,my mum had the same illness and passed away,I know the struggle she had to try and survive for her family,so my thoughts go to his family who must miss him everyday,I wasn't a fan but I can appreciate his talent and so very sad he didn't make it..❤❤

He was doomed from childhood and he knew it , think it was scarlet fever or diphtheria, the one that fatally injures your heart and only gives you a few years to live, but he was one of the greats with a list of top records, all classics which thankfully you can still find on you tube etc - mostly romantic - although mainly if he had had the choice, he would have preferred to be a rocker like Elvis, but I loved what he did and think it was the right choice for him.

Billy Fury was a brilliant artist in a fab time for music God Bless Billy. As for Russell Harty, I wont speak ill of the dead, this interview if Harty were alive today would be the most cringy and embarrassing appearance on telly of anyone absolutely awful

I thought Harty concentrated too much on Billy's illness , he had no reason to be cocky, he only had 5 years left himself.

Who the fuck scripted harty? He was like the angel of death.
