What a performance…. Absolute class 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 I was at the Brighton vs Wolves game when they dropped McAllister and Caicedo and Billy got a start (played 90 mins) and they won 6-0… their highest premier league win… he was MOTM and involved in the build up of 3 of the goals. He then went on to play against Arsenal, Man U (beating both), Man City (1-1) and Newcastle (getting a world class assist). Onwards and upwards 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⚽️👍

He's tenacious, strong in the tackle, a great passer of the ball and always makes himself available. Class player, he just needs some luck to go his way club wise. Def best player on the night. More power to ye Billy.

Future of midfield for Scotland and a Premier League team. Needs a good full season of playing 2023/24 and I think everyone in Europe will be looking at him next summer!

Billy Gilmour's 1st touch tends to be receiving the ball from a teammate in a heap of trouble. His 2nd touch is passing it to another teammate in tonnes of open space.

Gilmour, McT and McG were absolutely on it. They strolled through the conditions but Gilmour considering how little he's played is just going to be Modric like player.

He is top quality hopefully he gets the game time this year at Brighton to really kick on

Despite all the standing water (mix of rain and Spanish tears) he was able to maintain control and look just as composed as if the conditions were normal.

We need to play Gilmour and McGregor every game. They give us control in games that is missing in his absence. It also allows McTominey and McGinn to play further forward which suits their strengths as neither are playmakers.

Not much wrong with that. The only criticism is the receiving player from his passes sometimes struggle with how fast the ball comes to their feet.

His decision at 2:38 is something he needs to work on. He has the chance to drive into the box and take a shot, but he baulks and passes it straight back. I love wee Billy with a passion, but he could add so many goals and chance creation to his game
