Am I "that guy" if I say that I think he does LESS than you think? I don't really think this is anything spectacular at all to play. Quite the opposite actually.
This Billy Idol story teller is fantastic, and this song is too much and there are 2 doing good rock and roll, they complement each other perfectly, especially when Billy tells the stories before each song.
Steve picking the bass strings for percussion with his pick while playing the lead with his other three fingers....perfectly. I practice and dream of doing this one day.
I've worked twice with Billy and Steve twice in Vegas. They are both as down to earth and as cool as you can get... PERFECT GENTLEMEN! Billy even took the time at soundcheck to show me the "coolest trick ever" to play Zeppelin's Whole Lotta Love! So simple, but so illusive... Steve was kind enough to meet, talk to, (genuinely carry a conversation) with this hot chic that I was with that night... Billy was kind enough to meet and hang with her for a while right before he went on stage... They're both total pros! And nice guy to boot! It's so nice when celebs remember where they came from and who put them there... Not so with Prince, I might add... Never stop the ROCK! God bless and take care...

This couple is one of the greatest! Just saw Billy in Mexico City early this year, the screens did not worked, but nobody f*ng cared, it was the hell of a concert! AMAZING!!!
This is a very good example of the audience being part of the show and living it out and thus making the artist actually better. You can clearly tell that Billy's confidence and willingness to go harder is helped by the audience.
What a great song! And what an awesome version: the guitarist's rhythmic style makes me feel this song instantly and Billy Idol is the only one that could sing it the way it's supposed to. Love it!

lakoncers13 Uhm... well, he may've been almost 60 when you wrote your comment but this was recorded 2002, so technically it's a 46 year old man we're seeing ; ) And Steve hasn't been with him all the time, they were going separate ways for almost 15 years until the 'reunion' in '99.

Steven is a tremendous flamenco guitarist. So its no wonder how he can play rhythm and melody at the same time like a classically trained musician. He's so underrated, it's criminal really. Much respect! 🙏 ❤

As a child I used to know Billy Idol from chewing gum pictures, but I knew nothing about his music. This is one of the most mindblowing music shocks I've been through lately. The guitar player is brilliant, btw.
