Billy Strings, Chris Thile & Cory Henry - Sittin’ On Top of the World - Lincoln Center NY, 2/1/24 

The crazy part is that Cory is playing bass with his feet while he shreds like that. Blows my mind. I feel like I’ve lost a family member by not being able to attend this show and/or not getting a great recording. It’s really a loss for humanity as a whole that this series wasn’t captured :)

Oh man, what a show that must have been Billy and Chris together....and then Cory sitting in on Hammond doing bluegrass, now that was flipping epic.

Sittin’ On Top of the World is a country blues song written by Walter Vinson and Lonnie Chatmon. They were core members of the Mississippi Sheiks, who first recorded it in 1930.

My first time at lincoln center and it was such a strange show, strange crowd, a lot of filming going on. Masters of their craft for sure

I knew Thile and Billy were doing the morning show thing but I had no clue they were doing this

first there was BMFS, and now I see theres a CMFH and CMFT. WOW!

Ol' one shoe Billy actually cracks a smile near the end of Cory's solo....ol' one shoe Chris smiles all the time.

Was Billy kicking field goals before the show?
