Not a lot of artists are so fascinated with how their electronics work they show you how they use them. To me that’s cool as hell for a guy like me that’s 62 and doesn’t understand them all. I’d love this guy using my products.

The bluegrass purists should be embracing the new wave of interest by young people in bluegrass and guitar based music. This thing that billy strings is doing has excited the minds of a lot of kids

Yep and he respects and learned from the purists. His base is in the watsons and monroes but now becoming his own.

people just touring the Ryman and have no clue who the guy is and how incredible of a musician he is. I would of lost my shit if I toured Ryman and walked into him running his board down
