530e X: drive shows 0w-20, Looks like they recommend higher numbers for decreased wear but what if you live in a cold climate?

Is the euro series 5w30 more suitable than the euro series 5w40 for an s55 engine?

I think Redline is good. You can use also Ravenol,very good oil brand,maybe the best in Europe and one of the best in the world. This one from Redline is more suitable for diesel engines.
