Bin Truck Driver on Food Waste & Household Bin Waste, What a week! 

Yes sometimes it's good and other times not lol, I'm not a fan of doing the food waste,that's definitely my least favourite. Sometimes I fancy my own run just so you know what your doing from week to week.

If everything goes well I could start working in this sector initially as a driver's helper and later as a driver. 🤞🏻

Ye your right, I think that's why the loader's prefer the elite 6 over the elite plus

Ooft you must have some size of runs where you are , that's a lot of work

@@billythebintruckdriver3952 some areas we cover don’t have room to store wheelie bins, we still drag the old metal ash bins out the brick cut-outs by people’s back doors and chuck them on our shoulders

Hi Billy I'm a driver for Angus Council Same as yourself im a spare driver so cover anything thats needed... We have the exact same food waste trucks as you guys however... We got rid of the small daft buckets on the back and instead se use 2 whellie bins that way you get alot more in them and you'll empty less then you do with they small buckets. You Can fit 2 house bins on the back no bother hope this helps 👍

@@scottsoutar6596 ye I know what you mean, it does make sense. I have asked the guys that's on them all the time, why they don't use a 140 or a 240 and they say they like the fact that the yellow bins are lower down so not so much stretching up with the food bins
