Also, we are very lucky to live with a guy that loves to get "geeky" with technology. He found an old monitor and set it up near my machine. Now I can see what you are seeing on a big screen.

Cheryl Magnuson rough edges on any type metal hurt my teeth. It’s a sensory thing. Cheap cutlery in my hands has the same effect. It’s like biting into aluminum foil for me. Just thinking about it sends shivers down my spine.

A 10 minute video can take all day. I don't have time to rehearse. I just do this to try and help people. I'm nice that way. :o)

+eileenfb1948 Oh ye of little understanding of the time and expense it takes to produce even a short instructional YT video. I'll bet if you had to pay per minute of the time it takes to film and edit you wouldn't have made this "suggestion". The reason you love the detail and close ups is because of the time it takes to edit. For me, the pauses of comments and pop-ups add to the appeal of watching a family who enjoy each other's company enough to work together on these filming projects. They make some nice memories for themselves and help many sewists/quilters along the way. I envy them for this.

+newbeequilter LOL It does take a long time to edit a video! The old iMovie software was really hard to edit. You had to have super sonic bat ears to find where in the video you wanted to make a cut. New version is much easier to use, but it still takes time and we do it all by ourself.
