Join me as I have a great day on the Ohio River searching for treasures. How to find Arrowheads, artifacts and many more great items in a friendly game of BINGO.
I’m lovin’ these videos man! You’ve got me wanting to get out of bed, hop in the SidexSide 4x4 & drive down to the creek & get lookin’ for Ponkeshaw Arrowheads, various kinds, as I’ll take anything I find! Love the history! You are getting me up out of bed defying my “Degenerative Disk Disease”, and my 5 surgeries along with the rods & bolts, wires, batteries & say “to heck whit it”! Thanks man!
Nice all good stuff ,three ringer bullet ,coin ,marble makes me imagine a young buck fishing losing his pocket full of trinkets..some good facts all around, thanks for uploading,🐺🇺🇸
denver pelkey It’s definitely a good time. As long as it’s not 90 degrees out, I can shovel that sand all day and not even realize it. Time flies when you’re having fun. Not enough hours in the day. Thanks for watching 👍
Ryan Smith Thank you, I was wanting to do something a little different once in a while maybe to build my channel more. I just hope everyone enjoys it. Thanks for watching 👍
OMG!!! YOU AIN’T GONNA BELIEVE THIS!!! I just shot a new video today and it was another Bingo! Only the second one I’ve made! I’m editing it now, should be out by tomorrow night. Nobody has commented on that video for a while and u do on the day I shoot a second one! This is an omen. I must be in for something good on my next hunt. Thank you. Much appreciated 👍
There was a farmer had a dog, And Bingo was his name-o. B-I-N-G-O B-I-N-G-O B-I-N-G-O And Bingo was his name-o. 🐾🐾🎼😉☺️ Oh and by the way, in the “ crude blade “ sifter, I thought I saw a fairly medium-large shark’s tooth. My eyes could be fooling’ me but it was in the upper right side ( but NOT exactly in of the corner of sifter ) which is facing the bank. You already have trained your eyes to find many different types of relics. I know you must have a nice collection of finds and I’m sure a shark’s tooth has already found in its place within a display cabinet. 🦈😊
Love you videos. I have been bin bin watching them for the last few days. You put a lot of work into the video production and it does not go unnoticed. Especially the time travel video that was hilarious. I have never found an artifact in a River always on the second tier of fields. Thanks for the tips I have a farm in souther Illinois close to the Ohio river so I’m going to try
Not too much, started uploading this video before I went to sleep and woke up in the middle of the night to make sure it was done, and saw you had commented. I do stay up late sometimes though.
I love your videos. You Crack me up! I am in middle TN and I used to hunt arrowheads years ago with my papa and am now getting back into it. I am finding it extremely hard to find locations. Anyway, you are too funny and I really enjoy your videos and have learned a lot so thanks.
watching your video now. I just got home from the river myself. I go just about everyday. The video you posted the other day with the thing's you thought came from a fish. They are from a turtle. They are located in their head and used for ballast. They let the turtle know what direction up or down in turbulent water's. Bingo idea is cool nice job....
Rogue Archaeology Thanks for the info, very much appreciated. Somebody commented on a video of mine in the fall and said they were out of a drum. Thanks again, I’ll know now. And thanks for watching 👍
The Mini Ball, a French name sounds like Monae. Used in rifles by both the Union and Confederacy. Rifles instead of muskets which were obsolete by the time...
James Gorrell LOL, Thanks guy. The pirate hasn’t been back, too much shoveling down there. He only snuck in one time, till he saw the amount of work, then he didn’t want any part of it.
Thanks George, I haven’t found a pocket of stuff like that in a while, but every once in a while ya hit one. I’m still lookin for a big one. Like to pull a celt outa there but it still eludes me. Dude, me and the wife are going gold prospecting on vacation, and I’m ready for a vacation for sure. I’ll have some good videos up when we return.
@@cleggsadventures yeah I certainly know what ya mean! And you will get a celt one day!! I have found a couple. Glad you and your wife are going on vacation and going prospecting. Pretty funny my wife and I are going to north Carolina next month and going to press our luck as well. Were going to try out gem mining and gold panning.. I wish ya luck bud! Congrats on all the recoveries!!!!
Raymond Nelson It works even better where theres not so much sand. Usually when I go surface hunting with the kayak, that’s all I bring. I figured that trick out last year. Thanks for watching 👍
Scott you crack me up! Great production love the bingo think about putting the pieces on the bingo board next time that we can’t go! Your hard worker man glad you’re finding the artifacts and save them! Was that bass part of a Paleo Lance?? Rocks just found one of them looked very similar!
Scott Nock Thanks guy👍. I’m not sure, hard to tell without the other half. Maybe I’ll find it but I’ve pulled a lot of broken pieces out of there and never once have I found the rest.
15:43 that's a fresh water mussel we have plenty of them in Eastern North Carolina. As the otter are making a come back many of their shells are found on the shore's of creeks, the otters love them. You can fix'em up like a clam chowder, throw them on a grill for a few minutes or if the creek isn't polluted just eat them on the half-shell.
I find the shells a the time, but I hardly ever see a live one. That river is pretty polluted from all the chemical plants. But there’s a creek where I find most. I’ve never eaten one before.
@@cleggsadventures By themselves their bland but of course that depends on how hungry one is. In the shallow stony parts of the creeks me and my cousin would get a bucket full at the time. That was in the 70's though. As far as the little one's the otter's and Racoons are the masters at getting them. I found a pile of the small one's on a large stump where an otter feasted on them, thirty or forty beautiful shells the size of the tip of my thumb, kept those suckers for making a neckless................ P.S. I'm so glad to see the Otter make a come-back after being trapped to near extinction and hope to God that the mussels or fresh water clams are still thriving.
Bet you wish you had put "Beat some little bastards ass" on your bingo card. You got some killer points with a bunch of other good finds. The 3 ring mini ball was a real surprise. Thanks for sharing.
Can you bring a gas pump down there? Throw the intake hose in the river and hose down the bank instead of using the bucket. You could cover some serious ground with a thing like that.
Those shells are left over from ancient fresh water clams. They were part of the standard diet of the Indians. They are as old as the points you find in the same areas. Good source of protein on a day when hunting animals didn't go so well.
Hi and great videos. I recently moved to Ohio and now live along the banks of the Ohio River! I noticed you wear a mud boot. Can you please tell me what brand of mud boots you wear please. I, as a 62 year old woman have slipped and fallen a lot of times in the mud. It's scary and sometimes it hurts. Thank you again for your wonderful videos.
Thank You So Much for your Kind words!👍 I wear the “Muck boots”. They are a great brand. I use the ones called “Edgewater”, they are a lighter style of Muck boots.
@@cleggsadventures Wow Clegg! Thank you so kindly for getting back to me so quickly. I am going to go get a pair today. Did you order them from somewhere or can I get them in town?
I'm not really familiar with the theorized use of a "nutting stone" but I'm assuming it's for cracking open nuts. To be completely honest I wouldn't have even noticed it as being man-made until it was pointed out. That said, I work with a lot of stone tools and If i look at something for more than 10 seconds I can usually figure out something to do with it. I literally thought you said "nothing stone" until you showed it and I was like "OH, A NUTTING STONE". I can't tell you what THEY used it for but I can certainly tell you what my brain told me I could do with it lol. And I'm assuming whoever coined that term had the same idea.
Donald Ross Id love to try it, I’m always thinking of ways to get to the stuff easier. Only problem is, carrying heavy stuff down in there. It’s no easier accessible. Thanks for watching, much appreciated 👍
