I knew that Eli wanted something from OP since she was about to turn 18. I thought it was money from OP's Dad. But Eli apparently didn't know about needing an heir until it was too late. Of course OP would go to dinner with Eli. It's only natural that she'd be curious about her bio mother. I was surprised that the entire family was there, including the grandfather, especially with Eli spewing her lies about OP's whereabouts for 8 YRS. It was very brave of OP to go visit her grandfather on her own. It made him very happy in his last days. Eli got what she deserved, which was...NOTHING!
While I somewhat understand Daniela's mom, in the sense of not wanting a child, the rest of her actions are nasty. While it's understandable that Daniela's mom wanted to be alone, the only two choices for a mom are to have a child and raise them properly, or don't have children at all. Children aren't dolls you can give away, and then buy back later. That's not how that works. When Daniela's mom transferred custody to Sia, she should've realized there was no turning back. Heck, at the point Daniela's mom tried to take her back, Daniela was almost an adult! Talk about too little, too late..... And yeah, I can understand why Daniela wanted to go to the dinner. Why would someone abandon you, and then one day, all of a sudden, be so desperate to take you back, offering a large sum of money to your guardian in order to do so? That doesn't make any sense.... Again, while it's understandable for Daniela's mom to not want children, she had to have a child if she wanted the mansion. So, either she raised Daniela, and then got the mansion, or she left the work to someone else, at the cost of not inheriting the mansion. While Tobias's clause in the will might be controversial, it was his mansion, so he got to decide who would inherit it, and what rules applied. What Daniela's mom tried to do was reap the rewards without putting in the effort. I actually appreciate how she realized she didn't want Daniela, and instead of raising her, brought her to Sia, someone who WOULD raise Daniela as a child (something that should've been done sooner), but pretending that she never abandoned Daniela? Yeah..... That's crossing the line even further. You can't eat your cake, and then eat the one next door. You don't get paid if you don't do the work. Daniela's mom has nobody to blame for not inheriting the mansion except herself.
I know four people with various spellings of Eli! Ellie! Elle! And Elly.I liked this story it shows that I'm not alone in my thoughts on people get greedy and will do just about anything for money and property. Mr Reddit is a brilliant story teller
I had a feeling that op’s mom wanted to use her for an inheritance. I’m glad op got to be with her grandpa and now is spending time with her cousins . Good luck in the future op!
After culinary school and an internship, op went on to start her own successful restaurant. She now has a chain of very successful restaurants and has even more money (and friends) than ever before. /s
OP calling her bio mom a snake is an insult to snakes everywhere. Most snakes actually give their young more care then OP's bio mom. Most snakes then don't try to track their young after the young have gone on their own to sponge off them. Snakes also actually DO SOMETHING useful for the environment. OP, your bio mom is far worse than any snake. You poor person.
I know where this is going. Ok has money coming from her father when she turns 18. Her Bio- Mom thinks she can keep it if she gets Op to come back with her.
Would you think not seeing your granddaughter to not even a letter from her. That the grandpa would had hired a detective to find out the real truth then keep believing his DIL lies. But at the end at least she had a small window of opportunity to get close to her grandpa before his death. At the Will reading meeting the whole truth came out about his DIL abandoning her own daughter giving her nothing. That she got back her family that she lost due to her mom greediness.
Eil don't deserve to call herself a mother because she was never there for her daughter she was only there for the money and what's even worse is that she manipulative Op grandfather so she can have the will all to herself. And now she has no one else to go back to all because of her selfish ways
I'm not surprised that she tried to attack op for telling her grandpa the truth now that she wasn't getting what she wanted. Nor that she left screaming, more than likely insults and how she deserves the mansion and no one else. It was her own stupidity to say such lies and not expect op to tell the truth but that's the stupidity of entitled egg donors. Final update, I figured egg donor tried to force her stay at the house by refusing to leave at the end of the month. So typical because she's a gold digger and therefore believes it should be her house. She probably didn't expect the cops to force her out and probably it pissed her off as it cemented that the house she wanted isn't her's and she can't get it nor stay in it. Definitely not surprised that egg donor had the audacity and stupidity to show her face after everything she's done and beg op to let her stay in the house that she always wanted her claws on not to mention the stupidity to call the mansion her house despite it belonging to op. That says she still believes she's entitled to it and in denial that it belongs to op not her. Bet egg donor is furious and upset that op reminded her who actually owns the house, didn't fall for lies and manipulation then kicked her out. She can pound sand because she's NOT a mom. She's a greedy golddigger who kept lying and got rid of her kid so she could live her life. It's on her that she lost everything because of her selfishness and being greedy.
Ellie was a liar, a deceiver and manipulator! She just was greedy and didn't care about Daniela. A true mother would take care of their child no matter what the circumstance and that means putting your child first before your needs. If she felt that way in not wanting children, she shouldn't have gotten married in the first place. What I couldn't understand is why Ellie didnt tell the truth to the rest of the family and that she didn't want Daniela in the beginning? If her family was so concerned about Daniela in the last 10 years growing up then why didn't they go to Ellie's house and check on Daniela to find out what was REALLY going on? I'm glad that Daniela told her grandfather the REAL truth about her mother's betrayal to him and the family. She abandoned her daughter as well as her rights and she was very selfish. Sia was the TRUE MOTHER to Daniela for10 WHOLE YEARS and not Ellie. TBT, Ellie wasn't cut out to be a mother and her motives were very utterly disgusting! I'm glad that Daniela made amends with her family because Ellie didn't want the responsibility nor accountability for having and taking care of Daniela for 10 years. I'm so glad Daniela was the only one who visited her grandfather and to spend time with her grandfather as every grandchild should with their grandparents. I'm glad that she told her grandfather Tobias everything what Ellie did to her in the last 10 years of her life and I'm glad that her grandfather Tobias changed the will so that Ellie doesn't get any money or the mansion. As promised in the will Tobias gave Daniela the mansion which Ellie got kicked out of. Karma came without notice for Ellie! I'm glad that Ellie and Sia moved in and living their best lives. Congratulations Daniela on being a chef at your dream culinary school! Best of blessings to you🥰
Op needs to find out what her father left her because there is noway he didnt leave her anything when he died. I wouldn't trust her bio mom didnt take it from her
It has something to do with money. It has to have something to do with money. Some kind of inheritance or something that that girl is going to get when she's 18 or that her mom won't get unless she's got custody of her daughter. I'm at 9:07 and just guessing.
So, your Sia could have gotten a life-changing amount of money, in return for a couple of months of your time until you turn 18? And after turning, you’re free to leave bio-mom’s custody because you’re an adult? Fool. If it had been a couple years, maybe… but a couple months tops… take the money.
I have stopped this half way through. My guess is that OP's father or grandfather has left her money when she turns 18. Bio Mom needs money. Well back to the story to see if I'm correct. 😻😁😻
@cjenkins6587 it is purnounsed differently. Eli is short for Elias or Elijah. Elizabeth is Liz or Ellie. Generally when parents use Eli is a female name it is of a misspelled origin.
I wonder if your birth father left all the money and everything to you upon your 18th birthday and until then your well let's color Loosely your mother was to be a caretaker of everything until you reach your 18th birthday in which case yes she wants you back big time
I'm at the part where she met her mother's family for a dinner or lunch. But I'm trying to figure out why did she not tell them that she doesn't know anything about these people because her mother gave her away was sold her at 10. She's old enough now 17 year old enough to know better and you old enough to open your damn mouth I'm getting so sick of these crappy wrote storylines?
